New China — Restaurant in Tipton

I called and asked if they were doing their lunch specials today. The guy who answered said they were and that my total would be $6.05. When I went to pick up my food the woman at the counter said that my card was declined (I only had $7 on there). I asked her what the total was and she said $8.something and that there was no lunch special today. After I explained to her what the guy said on the phone she refused to give me the food and just reminded me again that there was no special today. I feel embarrassed because I asked these things on the phone just to try and avoid this situation! I have had bad experiences here before and will not...

DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR. DISGUSTING FOOD. DO NOT eat here. We were going through this town from our camping weekend. We stopped to eat without looking at reviews. Big mistake. They throw the ticket tray at you. The lady taking our order was behind a plexiglass contraption clearly still scared to death after covid. They do not even come in the dining room. Chicken fried rice is literally plain rice that’s brown with about 7 little pieces of chicken. Raw onion and that is all. ZERO flavor. Egg rolls burnt. We took it and ate in our car because the entire situation was off. We took a few bites and threw it away. Absolutely praying we don’t get sick....

I tried to be nice, she asked how my food was I explained I couldn't eat it cuz it was too hard she informed me if I didn't want hard chicken I shouldn't have ordered a breaded chicken I said yes I understand that however I've never had breaded chicken so hard it broke my fork when I try to stick it into at that point she kept getting rude and telling me what dishes I should order if I didn't want her chicken and I informed her that I was done with the conversation I paid $40 and we couldn't even eat a third of the food we ordered cuz it was so hard that when we tried to stick the forks...
