So, this could have gone better I'm sure. The waitress who was LOVELY! was not only waiting half of the small dining room, but was also handling all of the take out orders. Which alotted some of our food to come out before our drinks even did. She was visibly upset about it but we told her not to worry because we saw what she was going through. The Santa Fe egg rolls....were extremely well done, so done, they were steaming from the inside after I took a bit and scorched the inside of my mouth. My son's Pizza, I should have taken a picture of that, but he's 8 and it's Pizza, so he ate it, as long as it was edible. Haha. Then came mine & my husband's food. Mine (the stuffed cod) "looked" delicious, but right away I knew something was off because it wasn't fragrant, I sliced into it and yup, I was right, the stuffing was iced cold. I called the server, who again profusely apologized, and brought it back to the kitchen, at which point I saw the cook put it in the microwave. I told her nicely that I would just share my husband's sandwich, I wasn't about to burn my mouth twice. All in all, if we were local, I would try it again. This could have all been situational. Which is why I'm giving it 3 stars. The place was clean, and our waitress was very friendly and attempted to do all the right things to diffuse the situation. She's definitely an asset to the establishment. But, the line cooks in the back need a little "fine tuning" and the other waitress up front with her 4 tables should help multi task the front end with the other woman. They both had the same amount of tables. I was watching closely. Goodluck, I hope this was situational and not an...

We were on our way somewhere else, but that place wasn't open, so we drove on, and when we saw this place, my friend pulled in, and I said, "this looks like a nice little place", so we went in. Nice, cozy little joint. We shared a calamari app and it was delicious. Light batter, banana peppers, cooked perfectly. My friend then had a fish sandwich and I had the fried clams. Again, great batter, and everything tasted so fresh. The fried clams (with bellies) were fresh and succulent, and not at all rubbery. They were again fried to perfection, served with excellent fries, and fresh tartar sauce. One amazing thing about all the food was how light and non greasy it was, considering that it was all fried. My friend said it was the best fish sandwich he ever had, and I said they must use the cleanest oil in the world, because I couldn't even taste any oil. The staff were friendly and attentive, the portions were generous, and the value was awesome, considering the caliber of their offerings. I don't often give 5 stars, but small, unpretentious place took me totally by surprise. Wandering in on a rainy December afternoon was just a rare stroke of luck. Oh, yeah. When I got home and showed my doggy bag to my brother and his wife, they fell over, because after eating all I could at the restaurant, what I brought home still looked like a full order....

This was our first visit to Four Corners Grille. Its a bit of a ride from where we live but we had to go to Ballys to swipe for our free cruise so... Anyway we got there on Saturday about 5:30, the lot in front was full, so we parked right next door (the business was closed for the evening) I asked the hostess if parking there was ok and she told us parking there is fine. We opted to sit outside, (they have about a half dozen or so tables outside). Waitress came, took our drink order and quickly returned with them, and took our order. My wife ordered the chicken parm, and I ordered the pasta alfredo with broccoli. They both came with a salad to start. The salad for me was not a salad, there was no iceberg or romaine lettuce in it. Had I known this I would have just skipped it. Food came out timely, looking delicious. My pasta alfredo was very good, had an excellent flavor and plenty of alfredo sauce. I do like my broccoli soft, not crunchy, I asked for soft but still came out a bit crunchy. My wife said her chicken parm was just ok. Very plain and not much flavor really. Both the chicken and the sauce itself, seem to lack any type of Italian spices, or even salt and pepper. Still not a bad meal, and they are generous portions. Overall, we enjoyed Four Corners, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and food good enough to come back and try...

Staying at my brother’s summer home for a few days in the winter off-season near Horseneck Beach in Westport, Mass., I headed out to Tiverton, R.I. in search of dinner. It was a very pretty 20-minute drive to the Four Corners Grille, with great GPS service throughout the short trip. Good thing, too, because it's a winding way, with miles of sturdy dry-stone walls along the way. I chose Four Corners Grille in large part because I'm a major fan of fried clams. Living in Ohio and Washington, DC, I've searched without success for authentic fried clams; Four Corners is the first place that ever met (and indeed exceeded) my expectations. I started with New England Clam Chowder (cup, $7), but since I really wanted to try the lobster bisque, I ordered a cup for takeout dinner the next day (cup, $8). The main attraction, whole belly fried clams (market price), were amazing! The serving was more than ample in number (I had enough leftovers the next day for a meal to go with my takeout bisque). The clams were perfectly breaded and seasoned, and came out sizzling, along with hot rustic French fries and Cole slaw. I don't believe I've ever had such a tasty serving of fried clams in my life. Service was attentive, and the dessert menu was too tempting to pass up (I had the turtle cheesecake, split between both nights). Well worth a trip!

I liked it. I would go back just to have the same waitress. She was so pleasant, helpful and patient. We arrived late on Friday night (7:30pm). They created us kindly. The decor is country charming. We had a booth near the counter. We started with drinks. The special sangria was enormous. The iced tea was not sweet (a huge surprise to my kids haha, but nothing a little 7up couldn't improve) We shared bowls of chowder. It was delicious!!! Made with cream and big chunks of seafood. We considered canceling the meals and simply having the soup. For supper, we had a wide variety of meals. A giant lobster roll, the Sheppard's pie, the turkey apple sandwich and a fish sandwich. They were all good. We finished with a piece of Boston Cream pie and Peanut butter chocolate pie. The were good and less rich than I expected. The entrance is flat and door was easy to open. The washroom is accessible with grab bars and no vanity under the sink. It's a problem to lock the door as it's about 52" high. It's family friendly and they have kids seating. There is a big patio but you have to arrive at least 90 min before close to sit there. There is about 10 parking spaces.
