Elizabeth's Special Day — Restaurant in Toledo

I’ll start off by saying that my husband and I are not “cake people” and so we had tried 3 different bakeries before coming here and we just thought we’d never be huge fans of the cake we got for our wedding—but we are now! This is definitely a unique place, but has by far the best baked goods! Guests at our wedding are still talking about the dessert table, asking for us to take them here, and one went so far as to say she wants to book them for her newly engaged son’s wedding! Everything really was “that” good! We had ordered altogether about 250 cupcakes, cake balls, and donuts to feed 150 people and I think we only left with a dozen cupcakes, 2 cookies and 1.5 donuts 😂 We knew it would taste good, but we were also blown away with the presentation of it all too! They set everything up and had several stands to display everything so beautifully! I think it’s good to keep in touch and send reminders, but I would 100% choose this...

First birthday cake did not put on the person‘s name and they were told to put white lettering …then I order a 2nd cake giving them another chance …they gave me an all white cake with chocolate writing …it was supposed to be all chocolate cake with white lettering they redid the cake by actually scraping off the chocolate leaving a lot of white frosting which is not a good icing to us Leaving the white in between the layers I was not happy at all when I sliced into it since it was a birthday cake and jaming the stick to where it broke a splinter into the cake I’m so glad my bite contained it to where I spit it out Won’t order anymore ,I gave them a 3 star because the first chocolate cake was delicious after that...

Yesterday, I walked into the quaint bakery. Bells on the door jingled behind me. A radio played as I looked over the doughnuts. I could also hear someone in the back, so I patiently waited. I took a quick glance around the place, expecting someone to pop out from the back any second. Nothing. I called out "hello" politely. No response but I can hear noise coming from the back like someone washing their hands. I noticed the camera pointing directly at me. The service doorbell rang but the noise in the back didn't seem to react to that, either. This place obviously doesn't want my business so I just left.
