Happy's Pizza — Restaurant in Toledo

Update: December 31, 2019. Tried them again. Spent $52.95 on wings, rib tips and ribs. Most of the wings had most of the breading missing and the rib tips was uneatable. They was rock hard and dried out. I wouldn't give their food to a dog. It might kill it.

I made a order at 8:30 and I didn't get it until after 10pm. That was the 4th time it happened. So my order was very late and food cold. Then to top it off part of my order was missing. I feel bad for the drivers. They told me to call when my order came to speak to the driver. After being on hold for 15 minutes they told the driver to give me $5 off not knowing part of the order was missing. Which I found out and lucky for me the driver was still outside. I called him back to show my order was missing something. So another call was made after another long hold time someone put a manager on. I guess he was just as fed up as me and said give her the order for free and it was almost 11pm. They have need more drivers or stop having 1 driver have to many deliveries. Lucky for them I have a teen who really wanted some wings. When they only discounted $5 for a order that was over a hour late. I was going to tell them to keep it. Sad customer service. My recipt is at 9:45pm over a hour from when it got ordered. It had not left for...

The pizza is pretty good, but could be a little better. They had a pretty good music playlist going that at first was playing Green Day. It has a very nice atmosphere, except for the one time we went there at like 1am for some quick dinner and some weird skinny (probably homeless) guy was picking up cigarette butts off the ground outside. He said some very weird things and acting kind of predatory. He came into the place and asked me and my mom if we asked for his number in a very angry, unstable tone. Then left, Then came back gave us a weird look and went into the bathroom inside the establishment for a while. Though that wasn't anyone at the pizza place's fault. The guy that took our order and making our pizza at the time was very nice to us about it and made sure we felt safe. He said he'd stall the guy and call the cops if he tried to run after us (because we had to walk back home with our pizza) Before any of that happened he asked if we wanted to sit down because the chairs were up. If it wasn't for him I don't think we would have got home safe. Who knows what that weird guy wanted to do. Anyway, a very nice little pizza place. I feel bad they aren't in a better...

This place at one time was very good. But! This evening was the second poor service incident we had with them. Example: The first time we had food delivered the driver threatened my wife, and family. Also to burn our house down. We went to the restaurant to confront the owner and he said he had trouble with this driver before and would handle it. He said he was a family member and will no longer be working for the company.

This evening 7/7/2024 the same driver came to our home , pounding on our door, threatening my wife, calling us vulgar and disgusting names. I will not use the term (but we’re white) if that helps. No one should be subjected to this type of behavior. We had to call the police to have this person removed from our property, and have him no trespassed. I also called the company and had them blacklist my address from their database so they would never deliver here again. my neighbors are doing the same. This is a disgusting display, and I hope you never have to experience it.

I am very sorry for ever giving them a five star review in the past, they don’t deserve one.
