We actually didn't get to eat there ...we showed up on Christmas Day for the first time and they were mad busy. Still, I was impressed with how they kept it together in spite of the chaos, and the food looked great enough that we want to return on a less busy day.
All the staff were very kind and polite and did their best to help customers out. They did seem to have an issue with estimating time since when we showed up they had no tables open and said it would be a few minutes, so we stood and waited, but had to leave a half hour or so later as it did not look like anyone at the tables were budging. That's where I had to take off one star -- I think they could do a better job judging how long it will be until a table is open and learn to give conservative estimates instead of overly optimistic ones.
Apropos what an earlier hangry reviewer said, parking is limited, especially on busy days, though I'm not sure what the establishment can do about that. I will say that it's not so crazy inside on a busy day that kids will get "trampled." That's a ridiculous exaggeration. The place is certainly kid-friendly.
While we waited, a Karen came in and got mad at them for takeout orders taking too long (this was near 6 p.m.). I'm not sure what people expect on CHRISTMAS DAY. I'm also not sure what a restaurant is supposed to do -- refuse takeout orders? If they fast tracked those orders, the people in the restaurant would have waited forever for their food. They were doing their best to keep up with the demand. Seriously, you can't get mad at one of the few restaurants open on one of if not the busiest day of the year for not being able to keep up with your stupid order. It's just food, for goodness sake. ...

I visited the place for the first time and tried 3 different dishes. The taste of the main dishes were good and I have no complaint. But if you are picky about smell of food or it’s appearance, this might not be a to go place. We tried orange chicken, empress chicken and a beef which in my opinion all were good. The served us with egg soup which was I think only chicken broth and some eggs added to it. I honestly didn’t have it more than a couple of spoons. The spring roll, avocado roll and egg rolls were so so. Not bad but not that different than the frozen commercial ones. The lady served us was a super nice and cheerful lady but the service was not as super. I paid attention and saw that they are like this for all tables. So I’m fine with that if it’s the restaurant culture.
The yellow tube is a hot sauce I believe it’s Chinese style or eastern style. It was not chili sauce something like diluted wasabi. It’s a different type of hotness. Try it.
Overall, I recommend trying it at least once. I liked the place and food because I’m not sensitive to many different smells you might not like.
A side note that the place gets super busy at nights especially weekends so plan ahead or give a call to check in. The wait line might...
Read moreGreat food and fast, friendly service. I haven’t eaten here in decades so we decided to get the old standby (general Tso chicken extra spicy) and try something new (Indonesian style chow mein, also extra spicy). The general Tso chicken was flavorful and a little spicy, it could have used more heat to reach my “extra spicy” request but the Broccoli and rice were both fresh and tasty. This Indonesian chow mein tho! So flavorful and enough heat to satisfy my spice loving self, without overpowering the other flavors. My only complaint is that the noodles were a bit over cooked. I wonder if they were cooking in the sauce after they were packaged tho because they were still SO HOT (temperature) when I got home. Eggs rolls were also good, with a unique aroma that I can’t quite place. Potstickers we’re just okay, not very flavorful but the dipping sauce was perfect. Their hot mustard was very good too. Just docking one star for the lackluster potstickers and overcooked noodles because everything else was fantastic. Will definitely...
