Where to begin. I am surprised to see people getting their food so fast. Every time I go through the drive through here, even when there is not that many cars it takes 20 min or more. Well including having to wait forever to order my food. I finally get up to the drive through to order food. Keep in mind the car in front of us ordered a large coke with light ice but the person taking the order put it down for a large DIET coke on mistake and had to fix it. Well, finally order my daughters happy meal, pay, and go to pick up the food from the window. I ordered her a chicken nugget kids meal with a small sprite. First of all, the lady at the window was wearing a black sweater with a lion that had dreadlocks on it. Pretty sure that is not uniform and looks extremely unprofessional. The first things she hands me is a large diet coke light ice (sound familiar). I told her that I did not order this. This unprofessional employee then proceeds to roll her eyes at me and asks me with a very rude demeanor, "What did you order?". I told her I ordered a 4 piece chicken nugget kids meal with, then I was interrupted by this stellar worker and she said "Ya with a large diet coke light ice". She didn't even let me finish my sentence. I said no calmly it was a small sprite. She then got upset and said that the person taking the orders messed up and hasn't taken the large diet coke with light ice off. This is all from the mess up from the car in front of me in the drive through. Finally get my correct order and leave but now extremely frustrated. I get fast food is pry a frustrating thing to do everyday. I get it, I've worked retail most of my life. I deal with all sorts of people every single day and it can be frustrating. But to interrupt someone as they are answering your question and tell ME what I ordered. No you are wrong. I know what I ordered not you. You are in a service industry and messed up. No big deal, its a drink, just fix it and move on. Don't be rude. On top of this she didn't even have a name badge on her "NOT" work attire. I should of asked for a manager but having 2 small kids in the car who are hungry and want to eat, I just moved past it. I just hope this kind of issue is not a lasting one and a manager (I hope she was not one) at least speaks to this so called "employee". ...
Read moreThis is for McDonald's at 5210 North Summit Street only..... I ordered BOGO for $1 double cheeseburgers. Paid for my order looked in the bag there were only three double cheeseburgers. Politely asked where the other three were. Manager said you had to order them, I showed my receipt and said I did. Was told would make the other three but that I had to pay full price since I didn't order it that way in the first place. I said its on my receipt so it should only be three dollars, she replied no you need to pay full price and that I have to pay extra for the mayonnaise! I walked out. This is the third time in a row this has happened. If you have BOGO for a dollar on your menu why are you giving the customer attitude because YOU ALL messed up the order,,,,,,, AGAIN? The employees are nice but the manager has an attitude. She needs to go! If I made the mistake its on me, since I didn't and had the receipt to prove it is on them. Apparently McDonald's doesn't believe in good customer service anymore? Also in regards to the kiosk, not using that, I dont work there so why am I expected to do someone's job and pay full price. This place better shape up. People are fed up with how its ran. Will only go to McDonald's on Alexis from now on. I am completely done with N Summit...
Read moreI have lived in Point Place for over 10 years and this is by far the worst McDonald's in Toledo. There is always a huge wait .. no way this should be considered fast food. They have forgot my hash browns so many times I've lost count. (Or got my order wrong) Don't even bother going on a Saturday or Sunday morning. The ice cream machine is always down and the overall food quality is always cold and terrible. If they mess up your order they NEVER answer the phone when you call in. I honestly just drive to the location on Alexis road which is way farther for me but still way faster with way better food quality and service. This is by far the worst McDonalds in Toledo.. don't even bother driving in if you see more than 3 vehicles in the drive-thru. Words can't describe how bad this location is ... One time I waited 30min for a breakfast sandwich and one hash brown. Today I ordered four hash browns and they gave me two.. called up there and zero answer just like every other time. The employees are extremely rude and extremely slow. Ronald McDonald would be soooo disappointed if he knew how dysfunctional this location is on every level. After today I will take the extra travel time and just go to the Alexis road East location from...
