Wendy's — Restaurant in Toledo

I ordered 2 Apple Pecan salads, operator CONFIRMS there are two, tells me the total is $17.38 & I pull up to the 1st window to pay.

As I'm about to pay, the operator tells me there's only 1, I asked "but you said there was 2?" To which she replies somebody up front bought the other. I say I'll take one. She takes my card but SHE CHARGES ME FOR TWO!!! She didn't even tell me she charged me for two, I had to ask for my NEW total, she didn't tell me. I checked my bank right there and SAW THEY CHARGED ME FOR TWO! I tell her this, she calls a 'manager' who tells me she has to close out the other person before they can give me a refund.

I pull up to the 2nd window, They give me a cash refund & fail to give me my receipt. (Convenient huh)

I drove back into the store to ask for my receipt and what did I see? I SEE ANOTHER APPLE PECAN SALAD sitting behind the counter (you know the one they said they only had ONE of, yes that one, I took a picture) while they scrambled to look for my receipt. They gave me a balled up receipt like they had thrown it away (discard the evidence).

Thoughts: they PURPOSELY charged me for two salads, HOPED I wouldn't notice and someone would get a free meal off me! But when I noticed, they gave me a cash refund and tried to NOT give me my receipt so I don't have proof. Absolute Scum

This particular Wendy's is on Monroe Street. Detroit Ave is the nearest intersection. At any rate, I had gone to treat my staff and students to lunch. I went inside. Was greeted. I complimented the manager on the remodel. What I ordered and what I got were two separate things. I ordered a Biggie Bag for on of my staff. Instead she got a cold 4/$4. I ordered a salad and small fry for another member of my staff. Her fries were never included so I just gave her mine. We have only 30 minutes for lunch. I tried calling the number printed on the receipt twice....no answer. I tried calling a third time 2 hours later...still no answer. The 4 other burgers that were ordered were cold and haphazardly put together. The nuggets were not fresh. They were out of bbq sauce. The only thing I would order from this Wendy's in the future is a drink...

I love indulging in fast food, but I have to say, my recent visit to this location was quite disappointing. Unfortunately, my family and I won't be coming back for another meal here. We waited in the drive-thru for a little while, only to find out our order was incorrect. The staff member at the window seemed a bit uninterested in providing good customer service. It really shouldn’t be that complicated to order a large #1 meal and a regular #6, right? But my #1 came with bacon, and my #6 had pickles, neither of which we asked for. To top it off, the fries tasted overcooked and possibly hours old. I decided to head back to Wendy’s to sort things out, but I noticed the staff seemed a bit disorganized.
