The tactics to try and encourage tipping the drive thru are getting a little out of hand. I always tip, so no concern to me that you ask. However, I don’t normally go to this location, and at all other Starbucks and caribou locations they hand out the machine but you just select tip and insert card. I had my card ready, and the worker just goes, “no, we give you the machine.” So I grab it, but it’s not on a simple screen to add tip and insert card. Instead she walks away and I have to navigate a screen to initiate the payment. Finally figured out I had to enter the total amount to be tendered to initiate the credit card transaction. So, when the worker came back I mentioned that I had to do that and it was confusing. She just stared at me and says, you just had to insert your card. I told her I tried and and said what I needed to do, and she says, “no, you didn’t need to do that.” If you want to hand me the machine so I tip, fine, but I don’t work at Caribou and shouldn’t be navigating multiple screens on a tablet I have never...
Read moreI have to say, this is by far the worst caribou I have ever been too. The drinks never taste right, too much syrup or something. And the wait in line at the drive through is always ridiculously long. Even if there is just one person ahead of you, or a slow mid day afternoon. I went to go there today before work, and they were CLOSED. it's a Wednesday at 8am?? no signs on the any of the doors or windows explaining their hours, or why they would be closed.

They were watered down and hardly any ice, as if they had added water to the espresso instead of pouring it over ice. It tasted like Starbucks americano which I HATE.
