Jeremiah Bullfrogs — Restaurant in Topeka

I have been to Bullfrogs in the past years ago when they were at their previous locations. Went to their latest location for the first time last night. Food took forever which was kind of annoying but we patiently waited and didn't complain. Finally get our food but an order of wings were missing and only 1 out of the 2 bar drinks we ordered arrived. Server came back around, told her we were still missing a drink and the wings. She said she failed to put the second drink in so she would get that going and also go check on our wings. Drink comes out and shortly after server comes back to our table with who I assume was the manager. At this point we've 100% finished all the rest of the food we ordered and are ready to finish the drinks and leave. They go on to explain that some other server took our wings elsewhere but the kitchen just dropped more so if we wanted them, they would only charge us 50% for the wings. Annoying again but trying to be easy to work with, figured well they've already been dropped, might as well still take them to-go. Server brings our tab and we pay that way when the wings come we can just go as we were more than ready to leave at that point. Wait forever again and at this point figuring hey, our measely 6 wings should've been out by now. Server comes near a table by us and we snag her asking if she'd check on the wings. She does and comes back to say that she didn't know what happened but the kitchen NEVER EVEN DROPPED THEM. So we were waiting for nothing and WERE STILL going to get charged for wings that were never even being cooked to begin with, even though the manager herself come to the table and said that they were currently cooking. At that point we tell the server just take them off the ticket so she has to take my card back and do the charge again. More waiting and finally wereable to leave. I'm sure the fault falls absolutely on the kitchen and the server who decided to take our food elsewhere but management and our server was clearly aware of a situation and should have much more diligent in making sure it was properly solved. 50% off ($4, HA.) was a ridiculous solution for the amount of time we waited for food that was never even dropped like management had said. A friend at our table worked as a server and also expressed that she would have never charged us for the wings to begin with once the problem was realized, considering it was more than just a tiny issue. Total bad business, bad first impression at this location, and will be one of the last places we choose to...

I should have stopped ordering food when my "queso" turned back into a block of velveeta cheese. (If you guys put that on your queso wrap. STOP!) Instead, I decided to give a boneless wing wrap a try. The Texas Pete dry rub might taste incredible, however any delicious flavors were quickly masked by the wilted/rotten iceberg lettuce in the wrap. On the bright side it only took about 10 minutes to get my beer refilled (im sitting at the bar) and wash down the dissapointment. Before this experience Buffalo Wild Wings was my least favorite sports bar.. Every bit of me wishes I took the 2.5 mile drive there to eat that trash instead of eating this trash. This was without a doubt the biggest waste of $52.32 ever, and I buy scratch tickets. I truly feel robbed. If this is "Topeka's best bar" they can have it.

A friend and I were looking to eat good. My friend in particular had not eaten all day, and had traveled to see me. We sat down at a quiet booth in the back, not knowing that area of the dining area was reserved. One of the waitresses came up and, in a very rude and insistent tone, repeatedly reminded us that it was indeed off-limits, as there had been chairs set up to "block" the way. This was very much a mistake on our part, but the attitude she immediately flaunted was demonstrative and uncalled for. We walked out and ate at Tailgators. I don't think I'll be back for awhile, and I definitely will be heading somewhere else if she's going to be my server anytime soon.

It should be noted that I really like this place. The service is often punctual, and almost always friendly. Food is good, atmosphere is loud but relaxing. So for me to have an experience like this, here, is WAY out of...
