Inwood Supper Club — Restaurant in Town of Adams

We stopped in for dinner on a Sunday evening. Only one waitress, but she was doing a good job. I ordered the BBQ rib special and au gratin potatoes. The salad bar was decent, many items were empty, I didn’t try the soup. The ribs were absolutely horrible, I’ve never had such dry, unappetizing ribs in my life. I told the waitress and showed her how dry they were. She happily took them back for me. After my boyfriend finished his dinner she finally came back. She explained that she would not charge for the ribs ($20) however she would have to charge for the salad bar and potato, that I ate. I was charged $12 for salad and soup and $7 for the potato (I managed to choke down half my potatoes as that would be my only dinner. So $19 for soup, I didn’t eat, half empty salad bar and half an order of not great potatoes. What a waste of time and money. The only good part of my meal was the can of dr. Pepper I had before we left to get the taste of the terrible food out of my mouth. The water and fountain soda taste like they came out of a metal bucket in the yard. Cost $13 for some of the worst food I've ever had. I got the fish fry. It was soaked through in oil, rubbery, and the breading was near burnt. I tried to eat as much of it as I could because I didn't want to waste, but most of it was uneatable. The fish was translucent and had a yellow tint from how much oil was in it.
