Super cute family run diner right in the heart of Alden. Betty Boop themed decor. Wide variety of menu options with unique specials on Thursdays. Open Monday through Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. On Sundays they are open 7:00 a.m. until noon. The food was really good quality and portion size, with invividualized packets for condiments (butter, syrup etc.). Everything tasted home made. The french toast was thick and filling. The home fries were a highlight too. Cups of coffee never bottom out, as they frequently top off those who want more. It's hard to find any negatives. Grasping at straws, I wish there was ice on the water and was also unaware they do not accept credit cards. Fortunately we had cash. I believe they have and atm in there, or there is one in close proximity if you needed. I noticed a sign in the window on the way out. It was our first time there and they treat you like you're part of the family. Will be going back again for sure! Check it out, you won't be disappointed. RETURN VISIT:. Our first trip was not a fluke, it really is that good! Friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast came out quickly. Fresh fruit etc. HINT: There is a QR code for an online menu. That does NOT include everything. Missing some pages as the menu has I believe 5 pages but the online has only 2.

Jack and Ken’s Breakfast review took us to Alden, NY. Kind of a drive, to Marie’s Family Diner. Alden is a cute little town and you can tell that the diner used to be a bar. A friendly vibe hits you as soon as you walk through the door. The coffee was hot and delicious. Our waitress Ashley was the bomb. Friendly, funny and efficient. Breakfast was AMAZING! We had a difficult choice, the menu is extensive and we all wanted to order 5 different things. I ended up withe a HUGE Bacon Cheeseburger Omlette and hash browns and a side of the BEST Homemade Corned beef hash EVER! Ken had some Egg Nest thing with smoked Polish Sausage. Stephie had Eggs and Homemade hash, she loved it too! Ken paid for a Veterans breakfast and they let us hang an Alex event poster. This breakfast was NOT 5 āļøs. It was 10 āļøs !!! You HAVE to eat here !! They also have authentic German and Polish food nights during the month. Check their FB page for dates. This was the BEST breakfast since we started doing this. Go to Marie’s ….

Visited from over the border and wanted to find a delicious diner greasy spoon breakfast spot Marie's definitely did not disappoint!! Was so tasty and just over $20 spent for two breakfast meals the way it should be 😊 CASH ONLY but there is an ATM in the restaurant. This helps keep their prices so low There is also so many Betty boop memorabilia around to keep you entertained the whole time you eat! Absolutely loved this place will most definitely be back

Marie's is excellent! We actually drive from our town to Alden just to eat there. we ate there one weekend about two months ago and never stopped. So every weekend we go for breakfast. My kids expect to go and get very excited. Staff is very friendly, the food is just what you want when you come in for breakfast..anything you can think of it's there. You want an omelet, maybe just some eggs, or your feeling a little civilized eggs benedict, you most certainly can! We get the biscuits and gravy, that actually has large chunks of real sausage patty and they make homemade corned beef hash it's the best I have ever had. It's made with actually chunks of corn beef and super crispy hash browns and onions. Yum!!! We have not tried everything on the menu but I hope to make it a goal. We have never been disappointed.

The decor is fun for kids and the have wifi, big plus. We just like it cause between food, atmosphere, price and service it fits the bill for our...
