When you place an order for 4 people that is over $100, you’d expect to be presented with good Chinese. All the white rice in our whole order is under cooked and not just a little undercooked. I came across a hair in an egg roll and that ruined the whole meal for me. Then to hear my husband also found a hair in his Happy Family but tried to keep it to himself to not ruin everyone else’s meal and told me after everyone saw me pull the hair from my mouth. I understand hair happens sometimes, but to have it happen TWICE in one order is not acceptable. This food will be in the trash other than the General Tsos and the beef lo main .. I called and wanted to bring the food back. I want my $$ back for what was not edible. I shouldn’t have to pay for food that had hair in it. Then way undercooked rice…. Just not a good first experience. The lady said she’d call Grub Hub to return $24.70 for the egg roll and Happy Family. As a customer who had just spent over $100, I would’ve expected a better customer service experience. ...
Read moreOne of my all time favorite luunch spots in Buffalo, NY. Saturday and Sundays from 12p-3p is their all you can eat lunch special where they feature a small but delicious selection of food items. They have a bar of various veggie/meat ingredients for you to choose from to create your own stir fry or chicken broth soup noodle. They have a few selections but I'll give a shout out to my favorites which are the minced pork, sticky rice, popcorn chicken and the soy bean(Dou Jiang)/peanut rice milk(Mi Jiang) are made in-house. The boss lady is usually there, she and her staff are all very friendly and provide excellent service during the buffet brunch. Nothing complicated, the choice of food is just right (you can order from a menu too) and everything is delicious. I will miss this place as it's been a regular spot for me for almost ten years. I highly recommend anyone who likes Chinese food to...
Read moreBig disappointment!
Just got home from eating here, would not go back again any time soon. Nice atmosphere, clean and very good service! However the food was just Okay. The Hot and Sour soup was very good, the egg roll was crispy but was supposed to have shrimp and pork in it and it had neither, just cabbage. I ordered Hunan Chicken and my wife ordered General Tso’s Chicken and they were the exact same thing but mine had a few onion, red and green pepper pieces and baby corns on the plate. The portion sizes were good and we had some leftovers. The problem was that the chicken for both dishes was identical and neither were anything special, just Okay. They both had a sweet gooey bland sauce on them that was not that good. I wouldn’t bother eating here again unless everything else was closed. To be honest I’ve had much better Chinese...
