Normally, we love their food and didn't have any issues really after first moving to Williamsville last year. Then a few times we'd have small issues like missing a blue cheese or something that we just shrugged off despite the annoyance/inconvience. We really do not like to complain. So then we start having issues with delivery times taking an hour and a half or a little more, our orders getting messed up, or something would always be off. After this occurring severall times, I called to say hey this is what been going on, please fix because we really would like to stay as customers! The manager/owner apologized and stated that he'll take note of everything. Cool! We'll accept that, it's not like we're just complaining for a hand out. Then, this past week my fiance ordered for the kids and I while he was out, $45 worth of food and they took an hour and a half or so to deliver. They took so long that the pizza and wings were at least room temperature almost cold, we always ask for extra sauce, and there was not, and the wing order was wrong, they completely missed out out my personal wing order so I ended up eating the plain with the kids as hot is just too much for me. They also sent a Coca-Cola that we did not order but I did not know it at the time as again I was not the one who ordered it! The delivery boy did apologize for it being so late and he looked frantic so I left it at that once again. So tonight was a different story. We ordered a pizza for my mother who was babysitting our kids for us at our house. We called at 5:20 to be precise and receive a text message from my mom at 6:33 pm saying that's she's starving probably assuming that we might of forgotten to order hers and the kids dinner. At 6:51 pm, she texted saying nevermind it was there but I didn't see her messages until 7:25 pm as I was at a holiday function. Now please tell me if I'm wrong but math and logic says it took an hour and 31 minutes to be exact! I then called the pizzeria to ask for the manager and the man proceeded to say it was himself. I recall his voice as being the owner from when I've been at the place before and he's normally the one answering the phone. Again, judge us, but we do eat from them often. I told him how we've called on issues in the past and I told him what had happened about a week or so ago and then proceeded to tell him that we were told that the food would be at our house within the hour per usual. We only ordered a medium cheese and pep with the usual extra sauce and at this point haven't asked my mom how it was as it was late when we arrived home but I was upset that it took so long for delivery yet again. The manager then told me that he was sorry, that he checked the time clock or whatever it is they use and that it was definitely delivered within the hour time as promised and I again said no, that definitely is not the case and all he said was that next time just ask to speak with a manager before ordering?? I don't know what that means but after all this is would at least appreciate a discount or something to make up for everything!!! We're loyal customers and I told him that we'd hate to have to stop ordering from them because they can't get their stuff together. I felt very unappreciated as a customer and no offense but the saying that the customer is always right isn't always the case but how can you argue with a customer that has the phone call time logged and the delivery time accounted for via text message as well and then tell your customer that she's wrong!?!?! Very frustrating! That's when I chose to write this review and will probably go elsewhere from now on because we don't feel valued as loyal customers. My uncle who lives down the street from them used to order all the time from them and that's how I knew even before moving here that I liked their pizza but he told me that they don't order from them anymore either because their service and food had gone downhill but we've given them more than a fair shot to fix things or even to make up for them at this point and all I got was...
Read moreMattinas in Tonawanda used to be a treat for us. It’s been a while & this time I ordered from Sheridan location. I got a white pizza and a cheese & pep pizza. There’s a few other reviews on here that say the pizza is flavorless & im here to confirm that. It’s hard to imagine e that pizza can have no flavor, but these pizzas both came up blank on the taste buds. The crust/dough is unbelievably bland & in the center is mushy (undercooked?) The sauce is like paste right out of a can. It’s thick, bitter, and doesn’t even taste like tomato. There are some places that you order from for the cheese alone. Well not this stuff. If I wasn’t chewing it, I wouldn’t believe it was even there. No flavor at all There are many pics where the pepperoni is cupped & burnt around the edges. This is a real treat. Not many places have that. But my pepperoni had no color on it at all. I’m not happy to write a bad review. But this is hands down the worst pizza I ever had, and I was so looking forward to what I remembered as a...
Read moreHave been a regular customer for years. We ordered at least every 2 weeks if not more. Went in to pick up 2 trays for a community project we hold every year. This year I asked for the manager and a young kid said he was in charge I asked if there was anything he could do for this project and he said why would he when he can sell these all day long. I would have been cool with him if he said it was against their policy, but he didn't. He proceeded to tell me he didn't care. As I gave him my credit card I told him I would remember this the next time I ordered. He then told me he didn't care as he doesn't need my business. To think I supported them through COVID when they needed me and know they don't care. I went back to our community service where we feed up to 60 families for Thanksgiving and told the other members how I was treated. So now we will be boycotting Martina's for a long time not because they didn't help but because of this kids poor attitude and not caring about losing a very...
