Once again, nothing short of absolute perfection!☺️Last night my wife and I ordered a large shrimp and lobster sauce with green onion only and no vegetables (which of course comes with a small white rice,) a small pork fried rice (no vegetables just white onion please) and an appetizer order of their absolutely delicious boneless ribs. As always, all of mine and my wife's picky orders were handled with a smile over the phone, with the food being absolutely nectar of the gods and nice and hot! This is the RUDEST chinese place in the city! They are incredibly rude whenever you call the deliver guys are rude, but we order b/c the food is halfway decent and they will deliver small orders. Today I ordered (the same darn thing I always order) and repeated it just in case and when it arrived it was the wrong thing. I called back to tell the woman and she screamed at me, told me I was wrong and that I ordered Shrimp and garlic sauce. I calmly told her I ordered shrimp egg foo young and she began yelling again, saying "You're wrong not me you don't like it order something else!" Wow! NO one should be treated that way. Been going here since I was a kid and while they mostly have good days they also have 'off' days but overall, I can safely say Wok 28 is the best Chinese food I've had to date. My go-to is the sweet and sour chicken and from any other place it usually doesn't have a lot of flavor or feels undercooked but from Wok its crispy, fresh, and has a unique taste to it. And as a bonus besides the food, the staff is always pleasant to talk to and are very quick on the phone. I can call in and make my order in less than 5 seconds and it'll be ready within 10 minutes of the call.
