The last three years we have vacationed in Minoqua, we have either ate here or ordered from here. This year is the last! The pizza is always good, but the service sucks!!!! Either rude, slow, or both.
I didn't want to go back this summer, but my husband did so we ordered a pizza to go. We called at 5:30p.m. and asked if we could place an order for a large pizza now, but have it ready at 6:15. You would have thought we were asking for the impossible!! The lady was so rude and snotty. My husband asked how long it would take to make it then since we were on are way back to town and wanted to pick it up on our way through. She said 20 to 25 minutes! Guess it's to hard to figure out what time to start it?!
Before this summer, we ate inside. The server we had would never come over to see if we needed anything. We would always have to go to the counter and ask, it wasn't busy either. I would say four tables including us and a few at the bar. Even when we asked for our bill and a container to put our leftovers in, it was attitude. We ended up leaving our money and leftover pizza on the table after 10 minutes of waiting for her.
So to sum this place up, definitely not for families with young kids...the wait inbetween everything and the effort to get anything you may need is absolutely crazy! Also, if you enjoy good customer service, don't go here!! If you enjoy good pizza and crappy service this is your...
Read moreFirst time here. Bar and restaurant. Serving pizza, Italian dishes and sandwiches. Ordered a side salad, spaghetti and meatballs which came with garlic sticks. The salad was fresh and good for 2.99. Alot of salad heaped high in bowl. I like that they brought out squeeze bottles of dressing. I asked for ranch and french. Both good tasting dressings. Ordered the family style spaghetti which only is served with sauce for 16.99. You can order different quantities of meatballs ala carte. We ordered 12 meatballs for 7.00. Meal came with plenty of garlic bread sticks with an abundance of melted butter on top of them. The spaghetti sauce was sweet which I prefer. I'm fussy about my sauce and this one is delicious. The meatballs were flavorful. The garlic sticks had enough garlic flavor and were very good. The family style spaghetti serves four so we were able to take home plenty of spaghetti and meatballs. Will definitely come back to try other menu items and their spaghetti! Unfortunately I didn't have a camera with me to take pics. Wheelchair accessible.
Update: We visited this establishment again and the spaghetti dinner is very good and reasonably priced. I did take a...
Read moreWorst service I've ever experienced at any establishment. We were celebrating a 101-year-old's birthday and were seated while waiting for our group to arrive. I informed the hostess/waitress about our celebration and the difficulty our elderly guest was having getting in/out of the car. The hostess/waitress hesitated about where to seat us, but I chose a table and said we could make it work.
As we were placing an order for appetizers, they freaked out because our entire party wasn't seated yet. Their behavior was completely unprofessional and downright rude. They treated us like we were causing a huge problem just by sitting down, acting panicked and overly worried. Who runs this place that waiting a few minutes for a 101-year-old person would cause such chaos?
We've been coming here as a family for over 25 years, but after this experience, I have no reason to...
