Culver’s — Restaurant in Town of Arbor Vitae

Truly this is our favorite Culver's. Not only is the food prepared the same way each and every time, it is served hot, in a timely fashion, and the workers have personality plus. This is the cleanest Culver's that I have found in the UP. If a mistake is made, which rarely happens, it is corrected so swiftly that one forgets about it in seconds. They have a lovely little outside dinning area where we are able to dine with our pets and children as well which is also maintained and is always spotless. Their drive through is wonderfully fast and efficient. Only once did I have a wait in the drive through, we ordered a cod dinner and many other items and after a bit of time a nice young man came out and said that our fish had swam away and that they were making a new order for us. He apologized completely and offered us free deserts. To be honest the time wait was so little when he came to our car that we had not realized that we had been waiting longer than what I thought it would have taken to prepare such a large order. The last three times I visited Culver's were bad experiences. I wasn't going to give a bad review but hoped the issues could be settled with a letter but I never got the courtesy of a reply. Several weeks ago I ordered a large stuffed pepper soup to go. After a few bites, I found what looked like a partial toothpick. Gross is all I can say. The next time I ordered the cod dinner. When I got home I was shocked to see there were no fries, no tarter sauce, no butter and no utensils. I went back a couple days later and ordered and paid for a cod sandwich basket. As I pulled out of the parking lot I noticed how small the bag was so pulled over to check. THERE WERE NO FRIES AGAIN. I went back and said I wanted my fries. It took forever to get them so by the time I got home the sandwich was cool and soggy. I have been a faithful customer but can't afford to pay...

I just got home from about a half our drive to have a Culvers burger and after I finished placing my order I noticed an employee in the kitchen with his mask down under his nose , to me this is totally unacceptable during these times of Covid 19 when I spoke to the manger he said its not even a law in this county and told me he wouldn't force his employee to wear the mask properly ! so I asked for a refund and he gave it to me ... but i'm still highly disappointed and let down I don't get there often and drove a half an hour wasting my gas just to find out your manager don't care enough for his customers safety andI did not get the burger which i enjoyed very much in the past I wasted and hour driving there and back for nothing ...
