📍Laura's Cheesecake and Café in Mount Pleasant, Texas. . Another coffee date! The coffee was more like diner coffee. It was a little bitter for my taste. A teaspoon of sugar helped it get right. I like my coffee black, no sugar, unless I need to put a little sweetness in there. The food was freshly made and delicious, and the staff was super friendly. . The coffee roasted is actually from another roaster, not too far from that location. A real coffee enthusiast. In Pittsburg, Texas, about 45 mins from Laura's, there is Huey's coffee. We weren't able to visit them then, but we will next time. We just moved here, and I had to stop in to try it out. Unfortunately for my wallet, we are HOOKED! Not a single crumb was left in the containers. We got cookies, cheesecake, cupcakes, and cake pops for us and our company. I can't stop raving about this place now! My youngest threw the biggest fit when I wouldn't let her eat everyone else's cupcakes (I assume those were her favorite).

The owner is the absolute sweetest and just so welcoming as soon as you walk in the door. I love that this bakery is also so inclusive and doesn't charge extra to have dietary restriction options. Hands down, new favorite place....
