One of the better Chinese choices in Deer Park NY. Had people over the house to entertain after the holidays so no cooking was the theme. Everyone loves the culture that cooks that type of food and we were not disappointed. Called ahead to pickup, was told 20 minutes, was more like 40 minutes. Ok Sat nite was busy, walked in, small place few small 2 seat tables more or less a takeout/delivery place ( $10.00 min).1 girl behind the counter helping customers and taking phone orders, doing register and expedited the deliveries and pick ups, they could have used 3 more people in front. Ordered ribs fantastic, chicken lo mein, beef and string beans, roast pork fried rice, egg rolls, chicken and broccoli with oyster sauce, fried pork dumplings everything was great. Ordered delivery the other night. Was told 35mins for delivery and it took about 1hr 20mins. Every time I called the lady hung up on me saying “1 second! 1 second!” On the theID call I said I wanted my money back and she just kept repeating he's outside.. finally I get the food (at least it wasn’t cold) and the taste was not there. My expectations for Chinese food are low because it usually all tastes the same but this was beyond anything I’ve had! The triple delight Beef,Chicken,Shrimp only had 1 shrimp in it! 🤦‍♂️ I really don’t know where these positive reviews came from because the whole experience was atrocious! Jade garden is our family got to chinese food restaurant. The food is so good! Today we ordered delivery and our order was delivered incorrectly. This is not the first time. We ordered chicken and broccoli and they sent beef and broccoli. Not a big deal, they delivered the correct order in 15 minutes or so, but took the wrong order item back with them. That is unsettling that they are taking food back that was delivered and could have been eaten by someone and then possibly redelivering? I thought that was not a preferred practice in...
