Dunkin' — Restaurant in Town of Ballston

ONE OF THE WORSE DUNKIN DONUTS TO GO TO IN BALLSTON SPA I'm rating this place with one star because I dont have the option to do otherwise. Every time I go to this Dunkin Donuts, they never get my order right or the meat is under cooked or they're limited on something. It's like they're too lazy to do their job. Hell, I know they're lazy. When u order donuts, they're so minimal in their selection; only three types of donuts. It's like the economy is hitting this dunkin donuts worse than anyone else. Well, I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and because they're close by, I went back and ordered coffee, needless to say, I shouldn't have. I ordered a Hazelnut coffee, instead I got something completely different. To this day I don't know what flavor they gave me, but I know it was something that I hated because I only drink regular coffee and/or Hazelnut. When I do get a Hazelnut coffee, they never get my cream and sugars right. But at least I don't mind that part. I ordered that new spicy apple sausage breakfast sandwich which they didn't even cook all the way through. It was damn nearly raw !! People spend money for their coffee and whatever else they buy there, the least these people can do is get a order correctly and cooked properly. I'm positive it isn't all of the staff, but whoever it is, I'm determined to find out as I plan to raise all nothing but hell the next time I return and they screw my order up. Hayley- the manager of this Dunkin’ Donuts needs to humbly step down. I have gotten the same drink for several years, from this Dunkin and many others in the capital region. I’ve sat down in this Dunkin shop to work, and have seen and heard hayley get in arguments with customers before because she thinks she is right about everything but she is not.

Today, I get the same drink I do everyday. A medium iced macchiato with a pump And a half of caramel and an extra shot of espresso with whip cream.

When I placed the order I always place every single day, this girl said she needed to mix the macchiato if I wanted whip cream on top.

I asked her “why?” Her response verbatim like a robot with no personality and so much harshness , “I am the manager and per Dunkin donuts standard we can’t put whip cream on top of espresso or it will curdle.” Huh?? 🤣

You really know how to choose your battles. I spend almost $8 on that drink and you wanna tell me now after 10 years of drinking it.. I’m not allowed to have whip cream on top because you just wanted to be an arrogant, rude person with no people skills?

I truly wish for the sake of this company they hire better managers. This chic needs a “how to” on customer service, tone of voice and delivery and overall making sales for her company and not losing valuable customers.. the ones that put money in her pockets.

I hope for your sake you learn that your attitude is horrendous and you are a bad example of a manager in the customer...

Decided to change my review since Had a really bad experience with Jeremy yesterday ! He was very unprofessional, high at work and his words exactly “I know your type always trying to get free things” after they served me a cup of milk with caramel sauce and called It a latte. He refused to give me receipt and my refund.

TODAY. I Spoke with Assistant manager Shamar. And I feel he needs Recognition, an award and a paid in full vacation. He was so professional. Very understanding. Explained to me their espresso machine was down and everyone knew that and I should’ve been informed about it instead of Jeremy and kimmy fighting with me trying to give me a cup a milk. Shamar was amazing. And I thank you for making this situation better. All the wonderful ladies in the morning shift were amazing. Friendly and sympathetic. That’s a great team. It’s unfortunate the night team isn’t like that. But the morning team def made me feel welcomed after a horrible experience. Thank you shamar and thank you to the lovely ladies this morning. ♥️
