The new highlight is the gluten free pizza CRUST. Outstanding. Had many around. Focaccia esk style crust is unique. Starts at 5 dollars more per crust than regular crust. I assume the increase is because they're handling it in a gluten free environment too. Not sure tho'. Always happy with the product. Will eat in again. The regular pizza is excellent too. Pizza tastes different in the restaurant then take out. Everyone says it because they use different ovens. I've never asked. They're both delicious. The salads are great. Greek is my favorite. Subs and sub rolls are excellent. Boars Head products. Mozzarella sticks are always yummy with their red sauce. Have raspberry sauce too. Have yummy desserts as well...locally made. Carrot cake is my favorite. Desserts are commercial which is great, less precessing, great taste, good portions. Can only really get delivery on week days without paying extra fees. Ready enough to pick up.

Finding the best mozerella sticks in the capital region … Today I have Romo's Pizza and Restaurant Located in Glenmont. As soon as I opened the door, I had a feeling of being home. Like, I don’t know the owners but I feel like the marinara sauce is his Nonna’s secret recipe. I don’t know how to explain it but it was nice. And the Staff was friendly. I went in to order. And my food was ready in about 15 mins. Let’s get into these mozerella sticks .. Now this was a CHEESE PULL !!!! Wow. Really cheesy, it had a slight spicy taste to the breading, i really enjoyed the seasoning. Paired perfectly with the sweet Melba. These were fried a little too hard for my personal liking, and were a tad bit greasy. But nothing crazy. It was still extremely good. Taste: 10 Texture: 6 Cheese pull: 10 26/30 Ps: video of the cheeee pull in the comments 🙃 —51ATE

While visiting family they took us to Romos. Recently awarded a best pizza award, the place was crowded. It is a pizzaria on one side and a bar restaurant on the other. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and pizzas and sat in the outdoor area. Our waitress Sara was fantastic and made sure our group was taken care of. The wings were good and the dipping sauce was great. We tried the hotmess sauce which was like a Alabama mustard bbq sauce. The fries mozzarella was also a must there. We had a few of the specially pizzas, the scholar and Gracie. These pies were great from sauce to crusts. (Grandma style and artisan.) The regular pepperoni had a very different sauce it seemed. It was very sweet and garlicy. Maybe they are made in different ways? Overall a good meal! Try it out

I just visited Romos establishment and it was honestly the worst experience my family has ever had. We ordered a salad, pizza and a chicken sandwich. There was a very large party and our server was stretched thin trying to manage that plus us. This is not on our server because this poor girl was doing her best. We watched people sit after us about 25 minutes receiving their food before us. We received the pizza after waiting about an hour and the sandwich came out about 10 minutes after the pie. We let the manager Britney know we weren’t having a great experience and she basically dismissed us saying I’ll look into that and walked away with a nasty attitude. We let our server know we weren’t happy the food came out separately so we couldn’t eat together, the salad was made and we saw the prep in the kitchen was not wearing gloves cutting the veggies and the water tasted off. They told us the county had the water problem and the server said she was overwhelmed and she cried at the table saying she couldn’t control the food being prepared. We told her we understand and tipped her $20 because this server was hustling, but we let them know it wasn’t a great experience. Britney then came out from the back and told us we weren’t welcome. We were shocked by this. We were not rude or mean, simply advised the service was subpar. Britney was more concerned with sitting and socializing with the large party than managing the restaurant was what we observed. She did nothing to make the situation better and ensure we would have a good experience. We didn’t even eat the food. Looked good. Literally one of the worst management responses to customers saying the experience isn’t great. Sincerely the worst dining experience we’ve ever had after being patrons of Romos for years. Sincerely...

This restaurant used to be our favorite for takeout and delivery. It has consistently declined with poor quality food and service since they expanded and moved.

Tonight we ordered a pizza, boneless wings, and mozzarella sticks. Delivery driver shows up, hands me the box and wings. I get in the door and notice the side of the box is soaked in grease. I open the box and the entire top of the pizza has slid off to the left side. I yelled to the kid to get back up to my door.

He comes up and I said I want my money back and take the entire order back because I don't want it. He then proceeds to say "It wasn't like that when I gave it to you." ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I somehow did this in the three steps from my front door to my counter?

Two weeks ago we ordered from them and one of the meals came with a salad. Order comes, driver leaves, we open the bag and no salad. I call them and they said we would have it noted for next time.

I call and get Mary, who is apparently one of the owners on the phone and she starts asking who the driver was, etc. I was then told he was hired 3 days ago. I said well you should damn well fire him. She then said I no nothing about the salad from the last order. The girl when I called back insisted it was noted on the account. Lies, lies, lies.

I told the owner I was never, ever eating there again and I was going to go online and give them a bad review as people need to know how bad this has been. She starts to patronize me over this so I told her goodbye and hung up. Easy to see why the employees don't care, the owners don't either.

I refuse to give my money to a business that provides poor service and poor customer service. Not worth it...

Let me start by saying my sub was really, really good. I was with a group, and everyone was enjoying their food. I looked at the menu, and saw "build your own cold sub, $10" I looked further, and there was a section for meats, veggies, cheese, and dressings. After meats, there was nothing. After cheese, it said $.75. After veggies, it said $.75. After 1 of the dressings, it said $1.00. Since there was no dollar amount after meats, I assumed it was included in the price, and maybe if you just wanted ham, they would put a bunch of ham on. If you wanted ham and turkey, maybe they would put like half that amount of each, 3 meats? Maybe 1/3 of each, and so forth. I figured it was included. When I went to order, I asked the woman if I could get more than 1 meat, and she said "Of course". I got 3 meats, 2 veggies, 1 cheese, and figured my sub would be about $12 bucks or so. It was over $16.00. I asked why, and was told some of the veggies were extra. I paid for it, and when I got it I looked at the receipt. There were 2 extra charges for meats, $1.00 and $2.00. I don't know why this is not on the menu. It's there for all the other ingredients. Why not meats? It just feels deceptive. They could have put Meats- $1.00-$2.00. Then I would have been able to make an informed decision. That was the most expensive sub I've ever bought, but, as I said, it was Very, Very good. The bread was perfect. I'm not even saying it wasn't worth it, I just wish they had let me know up front. The cashier could have even said, when I asked, "Yes, but each meat is an additional charge", but she did not. Very good food! I still had to give them 5...
