The service was good, even though they were busy, except for the fact that we had a big table and they didn't remember what each person had. That caused a small mix-up with a couple of dishes that had different sides going to the wrong people, but not a huge deal. If you're looking for a big, king cut of prime rib, theirs was good, but 2 people at our table asked for it medium and medium well, knowing it would be on the rarer side of that, and it came out medium rare. Even with their delicious, piping-hot au jus, it didn't stay warm while we ate, and was a little tough as it cooled off. Could have used a couple of extra minutes to finish. The fries were pretty bland, as well - wish they had some sort of seasoning on them. For the quality and quantity of food that you get, the prices aren't outrageous, but I think they could have done a little better. We were there at a peak time, and they were super busy, so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt at 4 stars. If we get a chance to go back there for an early dinner with a smaller group, or just my girlfriend and myself, we'll give them another shot. Went out last night to give this place a try as I heard great reviews from friends who have told me the place had new owners and it was AMAZING!!! Definately found our new place for our nights out as we eat out quite often. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by one of the owners and they made you feel like you were walking on a red carpet! The atmosphere was very relaxing and we were promptly taken care of in fine detail. Our server was again, AMAZING! Everything was timed perfectly. We both ordered the Surf & Turf and thought the price was under cost of most places so we were thinking it may not be up to our expectations, WRONG! It was cooked perfectly to how we ordered our Strip and the Lobster tail was out of this world, not over cooked and dry like some places we have tried. We definately left feeling the value and quality of our meal went above and beyond the price we paid. Server was very attentive to our needs and owners double checked our satisfaction and very friendly. I highly recommend his place. We definately will be back...

This is my first visit to the Original Boston Hotel. There's another one in another location owned by someone else. It was my fiancee's birthday and she really wanted surf and turf I search far and wide for a value meal and still have a good time somewhat affordable for such an expensive dish. Let me tell you I was pleasantly surprised when I seen the food reviews in the menu for the Boston Hotel down in Boston, New York! This location I found out was bought by a long time waitress of 30 years, her daughter Chelsea was our server. The food was outstanding for the price and i probly saved $100 over a higher end restaurant near the city. I cant say enough how pleased we both were. Yes beer in plastic cups, paper plates for our appetizer waste but wow what a great meal with outstanding service! Pretty darn nice menu with some unique foods and high end eating for a rural location! I highly recommend it you won't be sorry, call for reservations on busier nights to be safe!...
