I wish I could give 0 stars. The older gentlemen who appeared to be the owner or manager was extremely rude and condescending to us and other customers. The first thing we witnessed when we opened the door was him calling another customer a "typical woman." When we asked another employee if they happened to have any birthday specials she wasn't sure so she went to get him. He approached us with a very grumpy "yeah, what?" We asked him about specials and instead of politely informing us that they didn't have any specials he made a sarcastic joke and walked away. I felt bad for the young girls working for him. Read moreI love this place. Ate there this summer (2020) and last summer (2019). I was a little concerned when we ate there this summer (2020). Staff were touching food with bare hands, no masks worn by staff, and no hair nets for long hair staff. I did pull a long hair out of my hot dog, which was hard on my stomach. I think if this place wants to survive the summer, they will need to up their hygiene stuff a little to make their customers feel good about eating their food.. Really want to see small businesses like this SURVIVE, but that means acknowledging what is going on...

There are some truly unique flavors along with some rare classics. However, what's best about Mad Dog Jake's is the SERVICE! The employees seem to really care and even ask you about your adventures.
