Hello everyone. If you are looking through reviews and have doubts about giving this place a chance, my advise to all - absolutely do. Let me share my experience with you. I have been to this place twice. First time lunch, second breakfast. Both times had a very pleasant experience. Place itself is cozy, clean, well decorated. You defiantly feel comfortable there. Friendly wait staff, the owner was there both times. And both times she came to my table to make sure everything was ok. Food is very fresh, portions are good. I saw a review, where someone complained about portions being small. Well, i couldn't finish mine and took some home. If you are looking to stuff your face, maybe "all you can eat" buffet is better option for your needs. I visited in "slow" hours, my order was on my table in less then 10 minutes. I cant say how it will go during rush time, but it seems they on top of things there. Also, I didn't feel rushed at all, nobody was giving me the look of "it is time to get out". Prices are not bad either. In my opinion, you should absolutely give it a try. And remember, if you are not happy with something, just talk to the owner, I am sure she will do everything to accommodate your request. I will be coming back to try what they have to offer for diner. Good luck to all, hope I was able to shed some...
Read moreMy mom and I came in one morning before I had to go to the airport I had the Spinach, onions, tomato, ham and cheese omelet. The omelet was brown and well done. I feel unless you ask for your eggs well done or soft / easy they should not be brown or runny. They should be cooked just normal. The omelet had what it said it had but the cheese on top had hardly melted for eggs that were so well done.
As far as getting service there was only 1 other booth in the back with 2 men. The waitress must have known them because she stood there talking to them for a good few minutes after we sat.
When we went to pay we stood at the register for no less than 5 minutes. The cook finally came out and took our money because the waitress was too busy talking to the last booth.
This place is under its 3rd ownership. With the quality of food and their pricing I dont see them lasting either. My omelet was $12.95 on their special Monday - Friday menu.
My suggestion based on knowing the history of this place. Lower the prices a bit and you might get the crowd in you need to stay in business. A veggie omelet at the Coram Pond is only...
Read moreWe were looking for something local since my wife started working close by as she can’t Take long & we wanted something I guess between lunch and dinner but not too heavy We found Athens was right next door where we found more than what we expected.
Tatiana was really nice & really good service I asked her about a couple dishes she took her time to explain as well as she could which she turned out helping me out picking my Dish since I was split from the stuffed chicken With feta & spinach from what I had. The food was really good I had the grilled chicken Marinated over rice the chicken was well done which was just how I like it With chicken lemon soup. My wife on the other hand had the broiled flounder stuffed with crab meat Which was as well as she likes it because she didn’t say much about it and she ate all the fish she had a Greek salad. I had a good experience we definitely go back and have/try something else and or different.
Took pics of not sure if new times menu looks the same but...
