NEVER AGAIN! Ordered delivery because I'm not feeling well and the family was hungry. When the driver finally arrived he didn't know I had paid by card. He spent 5 minutes on MY PHONE with the guy there, as my food got cold in his hands. After about 10 minutes, he lets me inside with the luke warm food. Well, half of it. I called back to let them know a lot of my order was missing and they said they would have someone right over. Twenty minutes later the driver shows back up and IS STILL MISSING FOOD I PAID FOR. They blamed me on not receiving my full order. I called and demanded a refund as our food was cold and soggy at this point and they then asked for my card number again ācause I hadn't been chargedā, which I had been, it had hit my account already and I could see it). When I told them I already paid and wouldn't give it to them again, they sent a guy back with more missing food (even though I told them not to) and he banged so loudly on my door, our apartment shook. He did this for ten minutes or so before I called them, yet again, and told them I was sick in the bathroom and couldn't come to the door and if he didn't leave and stop banging on the door like a psychopath I would call the police. Needless to say, I am disputing the charge on my card and will NEVER BE ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN. I would have given zero stars if possible.
Update - 12/26/17 (3 months later):
I did end up having to call the police because the driver refused to leave. The next day, they proceeded to charge my card for a different amount without my permission. Obviously they are writing down card numbers when you call and are using them at their disposal. I had to put in a dispute with my card company and put a block on the card against them, to ensure they wouldnāt continue to charge me. I am still waiting to hear back from my bank on whether they will be fighting the dispute or not. Management had no sympathy for me and still refused to give me a refund, despite everything that had occurred and the fact I never received everything we paid for. I have not ordered from there...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been using Good Wok for several years. Their food and sushi is normally very good. Last night I ordered General Tso's which is listed as spicy. It was so sweet my teeth shook. When I called to let them know I was treated with such adversity it was ridiculous. I was told no one else complained. I said obviously you gave me the wrong sauce. They said no, the chef was "pretty sure" he made it right. What happened to customer service? I was more upset about the attitude of the manager than I was of the awful dish.
NEVER EVER EVER will I spend one dime in this restaurant! Despite the debacle of my initial post we have continued to order from Good Wok as their food is usually good and they are quick. I placed an order tonight and the woman on the phone told me she would not give me General Tsoās chicken as I do not like their sauce. I was a bit taken aback and told her they gave me the wrong sauce about a year ago and if she checked her computer she would see I have ordered it plenty of times since. She then proceeded to tell me if she gave it to me I could not complain! She was actually yelling! I can only assume it was the same nasty woman I spoke to when I called a year ago.
