Subway — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

Honestly, I've been to several Subway's on the island. Food is edible. However, I have at least 4 on the way from my office to back home, and this just happens to be in a shopping center off of Rte. 25 when my hubby goes out of his way to get a healthy choice for the family dinner, (at my request, of course). We've given them plenty of non-discounted business before, especially when the shopping center was host to the temporary space while the Longwood library was being renovated. Tonight, however, looking to save a little and eat healthy, I sent him there with our daughter (who is ADHD, and apparently went right for the chips, thus adding more cost because hubby felt bad she was touching the bags, so paid for them, on top of everything else! $27 later...), hoping that they offered the same awesome 3 12" subs + 30oz drink for $12 after 4pm that we knew several other surrounding locations had. Well, not only did they NOT have that offer, I called while hubby was there asking the Manager to honor a "Buy 2; Get 1" or "Buy 6" + drink and get 6" free" (which I have a plethora of at home, just wasn't expecting to need them for this trip...), and he proceeds to tell me "Have him pay full price today, and I'll give him coupons for next time." And then tells my hubby a BS story about why he wouldn't honor a coupon for this order, and gives him expired coupons to use for "next time"!

Needless to say, with all of the other locations on the island, and them not doing a darn thing to earn or appreciate our business, this will be our last visit to this location. Short-sighted and ignorant on their part for what was probably a total of $10 more; learning experience on ours. Thanks, but we'll give our business to the one...

First off the service is very questionable. I had a hard time understanding what either other the two employees working were saying. I went in to buy the footlong cookie, they didn’t have it. Fine no problem, I settled with the churro which is 2 dollars. When it was time to get rung up he said 6 dollars for two? I said no me and my friend want to do it separate, which he responded with 3 dollars. I asked him how is it 3 dollars if it says 2 right in front of me on the menu? “Sales tax” he responded. First off, sales tax isn’t 1 dollar on a 2 dollar purchase, second he didn’t even bother putting it into the computer. Once he realized I wasn’t as stupid as he taught I was he decided to put it in the computer and charge me the 2.17 it actually is. This isn’t about the 83 cents, it’s about professionalism and honest which is clearly lacking in this store. If for whatever reason you decide to come and get food from here, make sure you know the price of what you’re getting and make sure you don’t let yourself...

Be careful: check your receipt. They do extra charge by 'mistake' on purposely!

We went to Subway. And we asked 4 foot long. The woman did not give us the receipt until we asked for it. When we saw it ,it was wrong. The extra 10% coupon does not applied at all and an extra 6'' which we did not order !!! The women did not give back. Instead, she complained that there are many customers awaiting and asked us to call the manager. How could we know her manager phone? Why we should call her manager, not her? A few dollar is not a deal, but the bad attitude is not acceptable. We wrote this because we do not want this happens...
