Great Wall — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

When you order food at a NY Chinese food place , you pretty much always know what to expect. I was having a serious craving for dumplings so I figured I’d try this place, expecting the typical, doughy dumplings most places will give you. Like, they’re good, ok. Hence why I was craving dumplings. But nothing wildly special. THIS place though? I was immediately pleasantly surprised upon my first bite. The texture wasn’t very doughy, but not too thin, and the filling was delicious! Just so much better than your typical Chinese restaurant. And I mean it’s awesome when you’re craving something so specific and what you get surpasses your expectations. Best take out dumplings...

Absolutely never going back ! If I could give them a “0” I would but I’m the type of person even though they have screwed up my order multiple times ! I like to give them the benefit of the doubt and try again! Today was my last straw ! The owner “women” told me quote on quote “ than why you keep calling back and hung up on me” they are disrespectful, rude . I kindly placed the order and told them to charge me $$ xtra for the hot sauce and got “5 packets “ and I ordered 4 dishes ? I’m not sure how long they’ve been around but I only started going here about 4 months ago.

The place is spotless which I can’t usually say about any chinese food restaurant.

The food is prepared exactly how I expected it to be and thanks to a recommendation from a friend their Shrimp with Eggplant in Garlic Sauce is better than I ever would’ve expected.
