We are a family of three. Years ago we had a bad experience at IHOP, we happened to find this hidden gem and never looked back. My husband loves the eggs Benedict, my daughter gets chocolate chip pancakes, I like a little verity I've gotten corn muffins, bacon and eggs homefries, French toast, omelets of multiple flavors. We have NEVER had a bad meal at this place. The food is always great that the price is extremely reasonable, but what really keeps us coming back is the friendly staff. In the probably over 50 times we have visited we have had nothing but wonderful experiences with all the absolutely lovely people that work there. If you like to chit chat Sue is amazing! She not only recognizes our small quite family, she remembers our orders from the last time we were in and starts them right away which gives us a chace to chat which is great because she's always got a good story out...
Read moreI rarely leave reviews, but this place earned it — and not in a good way. The coffee tasted burnt, like it had been sitting in the pot for hours. I felt rushed almost like nobody cared that I was an actual person, and not just money. Seemed like they just wanted me in and out, obviously I know that’s how servers want it to be like but think they need to try a little harder so it doesn’t look that way. The staff seemed more interested in chatting with each other than helping customers. Almost like I was bothering them for just being there. I waited almost 10 minutes just to place my order, even though there was no line. The person at the counter barely made eye contact. It was just very chaotic and I didn’t feel welcome. Tables were sticky, the floor had crumbs all over it, and the music was blasting way too loud for a place that claims to be a “cozy spot to relax.” Save your...
Read moreReally perfect spot for a quick delicious bite for any time of day! Super kid friendly and they have a large selection in their kids menu as well. Prices are really reasonable and portions are generous too. Loved the ambiance, throwback to the days of legit family owned lincheonette's with the swivel bar stool sitting on one side and booth seating on the other. Love there were family and staff pictures that adorned the walls. I especially loved that their specials menus for the day has classics like delicious pot roast but didn't come with stupid crazy pricing just because it was a special for the day. The staff was an absolute joy from the owners to servers to Maria who was busily bussing each table that was done with their meal.
Conveniently located close to Port Jefferson downtown attractions and since it's in a strip mall, ample free parking too! Will definitely...
