JC's Restaurant Manorville — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

I love reading Restaurant reviews almost as much as I love restaurants. I especially get a kick out of reading reviews on a restaurant like JC's in Manorville when 99% of the reviews are great reviews. Just in case you've never been to JC's let me say this; My family and many of my friends from the community have been eating at JC's for 15 years. We had my daughters sweet 16 at JCs, JC's catered my Son's graduation as well as many other family events. The food is always fresh and good and the staff is always attentive and polite & their burgers are amongst the best burgers you will find anywhere. In case you don't already know, JC's has hosted many community events and charity events throughout the years as well & I'm relatively certain that these events probably cost them more money than it actually made for them. Pertaining to one particular review that I just read about some customer whining about discomfort because they couldn't get seated at their favorite seat, I have a question; If JC's is such a horrible place, about which they've decided that they are going to "make sure that everyone knows how uncomfortable they were" then why are they regulars? I mean, they admit that they're regulars, which means that they go there all the time, but now they're angry because their favorite dining room spot was closed one day, so, they've decided that if JC's doesn't accommodate their irrational, illogical and unreasonable demands and give them the seat that they want, they're going to throw a temper tantrum, much like a spoiled child would do if they didn't get their way. Then, in a spiteful, mean hearted attempt to damage the reputation of a hard working family's livelihood, they are going to tell everyone that they know, that the place that they have been going for all of this time is now NO GOOD ? Shame on you! If it were my restaurant I would give you a book of fast food coupons ban you you for life. Keep up the great work JC's! You are a community staple and I can't wait to eat there for...

We celebrated my Father's 90th Birthday at JC's this past Saturday & they did a fantastic job. Jenn & her staff went above & beyond. Over the past 18 years we have catered numerous events with JC's & for us JC's has become a family tradition which evokes a countless number great memories with our family & friends. As usual, the staff was great & they were on the ball every step of the way. And let me just say this about the food; Whether you eat at JC's Restaurant or cater an event, the food is always fresh & delicious & this event was no different. Everybody raved about the food. Relatives were calling & texting us all day Sunday complementing us on how delicious it was & what a great time was had by all. Let's be honest; we've all been to catered events where all the guests get plenty to eat & the food pretty much all tastes the same, all the time, regardless of the venue. However, if you want a higher quality of food, something different, something a step above the norm, more like a treat, prepared by great chefs who obviously know what they're doing in the kitchen, preparing fresh food & using higher quality ingredients, that won't just be "good enough" to fill up your guests, but it will offer them a magnificent dining experience, in a beautiful, spotlessly clean venue, with a great view, for a reasonable cost, then this is where I recommend you book your next event! We spent valentines at one of our favorite local places yesterday, it was really busy our reservation was at 7 the height of dinner rush. We enjoyed every aspect of JC’s from the hostess to the servers to the much needed delicious dinner and ambiance! We started with chicken nachos and garlic bread, main course we had Norwegian lamb chops on a mountain of potatoes yum! I ordered the panko chicken with baby rigatonis peas buratta in a sherry sauce and what a trip to flavor town! The food here never disappoints even when we order takeout it’s always delicious. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner what a lovely hard working lady! All that she does to provide the best experience shines bright through her staff and patrons. We tested out little cheese cakes that were outrageous I don’t even like cheesecake and I ate them at first not knowing what they were. they were creamy and yummy and delicious I didn’t know I could like something so much that I didn’t like anywhere else. The strawberry was Huge and I ate every last bit we were stuffed I had to take home almost half of my dinner which we ate today!
