A lot of NY breweries claim the "farm brewery" title, but it's not often a brewery actually earns the "farm brewery" title. So we're happy to report that LIFB is a proper brewery, on a proper farm (Waterdrinker). LIFB brews their beer at their Manorville location, in an old potato storage barn. If you're closer to Riverhead, they also operate a beer garden outpost but it does not appear to have brewing on site.
Unfortunately for us, LIFB does not serve flights or short/half pours. The bartender did offer tastes though, so no fear on dedicating to the wrong beer! Out of our two beers, we enjoyed the Watermelon Summer golden ale. The watermelon is subtle, but noticeable.

I’ve been to the brewery on three different occasions and have ordered from the food trucks. The price vs value and taste experience has been disappointing on all three occasions.
