Your Bagel Cafe (Royal Shopping Center) — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

I TRIED to call in an order because my boyfriend was already on the way to go pick up breakfast before realizing he forgot his wallet home. I asked to pay over the phone and the girl behind the counter told me she’s too busy to take my debt card over the phone. I explained he’s outside without a wallet and asked to please pay over the phone multiple times and she refused for a good 3 mins and kept saying she’s too busy to take my payment. She told me to come in with the card to pay and hung up. I called back and asked to speak to a manager and got put on hold for about 5 minutes. My boyfriend who was outside watched the staff pass around the phone before disconnecting my call without speaking to me. I again called back told them I had someone watching them disconnect my call and told them this time make sure I get through to the manager. He finally got on the phone and informed me they would take payment over the phone he said it’s 3 seconds asked if I still wanted anything but after watching all that go down we decided we won’t be getting anything from there at all. WELL I AM A VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER. I HAVE BEEN GOING TO THIS BAGEL STORE FOR ABOUT SIX MONTHS MAYBE MORE. OFF THE FACT THAT I DO NOT EAT PORK LET ALONE MEAT. OKAY SO THIS PLACE IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE ONLY PLACE THAT I'VE SEEN AND BEEN TOO THAT DOESN'T COOK THEIR HOME FRIES IN PORK GREASE.AFTER RECEIVING HOME FRIES THE OTHER DAY AND THEM HAVING BACON IN IT. I TO SAY THE LEAST WAS LIVID. I THEN CALLED AND TALKED TO THE MANAGER THAT EXPRESSED HIS DEEPEST CONCERNS AND ASSURED ME THAT HE HIMSELF DOESN'T EAT PORK.HE ALSO WENT TO SAY THAT THE HOME FRIES ARE COOKED IN VEGETABLE GREASE. WHICH MADE ME MORE HAPPY. THIS WAS ON SEPTEMBER 8,2021. THE MANAGER WAS SO SORRY THAT HE GAVE ME ANOTHER HOME FRIES FREE OF CHARGE. SO TODAY I CALLED TO PLACE AN ORDER SAME LIKE ALWAYS AND THE WOMEN THAT ANSWERED THE PHONE CLEARLY STATED. THAT THE MANAGER SAYS THEY DO COOK THE HOME FRIES IN PORK GREASE AND I COULD GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. THAT THE MANAGER DIDN'T WANT TO TALK TO ME AND TOLD ME THAT I CAN GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Let me first start by saying I’ve given this bagel Café a five star review in the past. And I’ve never been unsatisfied with their customer service, their food, or any part of my experience with this café. Except today, with everything going on with Covid-19, I was greatly disappointed. Why are your staff NOT changing their gloves in between every customer? If your touching money or credit cards with gloves you should not, I REPEAT should NOT be using the same gloves to make food for a different customer. Gloves MUST be changed in between every customer. I am aware that bacteria found on money is considered dry bacteria and less likely to harm us, however with an unknown virus going around KILLING THOUSANDS, you would think people would be a little bit more aware, use more common sense.
