Tommy's Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Brunswick

May 20th, 2022, I called to place an order for delivery at 3pm to be delivered for 6:30pm. The teenager working was not friendly right from the beginning. I called at 7 to ask where my food was after giving them a 3 and a half hours notice. That shouldn't be difficult correct? She was rude and disrespectful right from the beginning. She put me on hold when I asked to speak to a manager. Another very young girl answered and was being rude and giving me an attitude after I had informed them that they had ample time. I called a few hours in advance. She response was an another attitude amd said well what do you expect, we are all teenagers working. She claimed to be the manager, but then asked if I wanted the manager. I asked if Tommy was working. She said yes, and handed him the phone. The young boy however clearly, was not Tommy. We have had nothing but issues since a bunch of teenagers were hired with very poor work ethic and terrible customer service. We tip very well regardless if they are late. Edit again: Seriously what is wrong with this place? We have ordered well done pizza for MONTHS and it's cooked perfectly (because apparently to the cook, undercooked and raw is perfectly fine). Tonight we place the EXACT SAME ORDER AS ALWAYS AND IT IS BURNT TO A CRISP. Disgusting. Get your act together Tommy's.

Edit: need to update my review as we finally figured out how to get properly cooked pizza from Tommy's. Always order well done. It comes fully cooked, never burnt!

Original review: We used to love Tommy's, being the only delivery option we have out here. But it has been months since we've been able to get a pizza that is fully cooked. I even threatened to send it back tonight if it wasn't and it still came undercooked, mushy and chewy in the middle. We only tried it twice ( had to try again as the first time wasn't bad, but it wasn't fantastic either. ) second time was the same, just okay. Could use small improvement in quality of ingredients, and definitely more toppings for your dollar. To be fair, competition is tough trying to review pizzerias, and there's just brilliant places out there. That being said, they have a monopoly on that particular location, so although not spectacular, it's still appealing. I hate leaving less than positive reviews, but I can't lie to you all either... Side note, online orders, put in more than an hour ahead, should be ready within 10 to 15 minutes of the promised time, and customers, (we know you're all busy in the kitchen, but) should at least be greeted when they come in the door 🙂 Hope to try again in a few months, see if...
