We arrived at 11:30 on a Sunday morning hoping for a late brunch, but were not offered breakfast menus (even though we found out later that breakfast was all the kitchen was serving at that point). We were given regular lunch/dinner menus, so we assumed breakfast was over and placed lunch orders instead. After placing our order and waiting nearly 45 minutes, our server notified us that our food would be out late because the kitchen was still serving breakfast. We watched at least 6 other tables of people, all who arrived after us, receive their breakfast orders before us, and finally received our meal an hour after ordering I realize that this was probably just an unfortunate oversight or miscommunication on the part of our server, but as a family passing through on the interstate hoping for a quick sit-down breakfast, this place was a real frustration and disappointment. Had there been any attempt to make it right or acknowledge the mistake, we might feel differently-- but unfortunately cannot recommend this place for the average person on somewhat of a schedule. We definitely won't be stopping the next time we pass...
Read moreHad to ask for water. Club sandwich was on two not three slices of bread and had no tomato. Had to ask for that. My wife's "Dan's chicken salad sandwich" in no way resembled a chicken salad sandwich. Looked more like pizza toppings on a bun. Waitresses made up condiments for Bloody Marys without gloves at the dining room table right next to us. The whole time the waitresses in there talked about gabby subjects that were not meant to be talked about during business hours in public. The music blasting from the kitchen was east LA gangster music in a sorts bar full of what I could only characterize as elderly country music enthusiasts. Location is above the Black River along a busy highway. At least two of the waitresses looked like they were late for their next hit of meth. Despite being recommended by our local lift driver, this is one place I would not recommend. There are far better places to go and...
Read moreI had my dog with me on this date so we sat on the patio. We were the only ones on the patio. The staff brought out a bowl of water and treats for my dog, which was very nice. I have no complaints about them. What I can say is that the food is over priced and does not taste like anything Burger King or Hardie's couldn't take care of. My sand which was 9.99 and I couldn't even finish it because the seasoning on the breading tasted old and frozen. I ordered a canned beer that should have cost $2.00 at the max but was $3.00. After I was done I untied my dog from his leash to get ready to go. As I was putting down my last dollar for the bill a new staff person came out and asked me to please tie up my dog...who was not hurting anything and is extremely behaved. I will not eat there again nor suggest it to anyone due to the prices and...
