I went in for the first time with a work associate today. We talked to the waitress who was very nice and had a great personality. We were dropping off business cards and then were going to stay and eat lunch. We asked for Lindsay (which is also my name, so we thought that was funny and we’re excited to go here). The waitress started walking towards the window/office and asked when the owner Lindsay would be in and a gruff unfriendly woman with blonde hair yelled “who are they?” And when we started to introduce ourselves she interrupted and said “I’m Lindsay” followed by something I didn’t understand in a negative tone - even though it was very obvious that she was not the owner and was impersonating her. We were taken back by how rude she was and the waitress looked embarrassed and walked away quickly - we decided not to eat here after being treated so rudely. We are business owners who work in the area often and visit clients, but I would never want to be treated so rudely and lied to again - very embarrassing behavior at a local business that left us so disappointed and negative feeling that we did not want to stay and eat. You lost multiple customers today and I hope the owner reads this so that she knows there is a rude woman pretending to be her and discouraging new customers from...

Betty's is a no frills diner with simply made meals and attentive service. It's a place where you can still get breakfast all day and a bottomless cup of coffee.
I had a short stack with Real Maple Syrup ($2 extra) and large order of bacon. My food was 'Grandma perfect'. The the cakes were hot and lite - the bacon crisp. Music from an old radio played in the background as the fresh faced red headed waitress served others hamburgers and ice cream shakes.
For a few minutes, I was transported to the Catskills of the 1930's driving up from the city into the "country" - heading home for Christmas.
Relive the simpler times, take a drive into the country, and stop at the sign that says - E A T -.

The steak was crispy and perfectly seasoned, and the gravy? Just the right balance of rich and flavorful. My husband ordered the "Hungry Man" dish, and it was huge! The portions were so generous, and the pancakes on the side were fluffy and light, just like they should be.
Our waitress, Jonna, was fantastic! She was super attentive, made us feel right at home, and had such a warm, lively personality. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does, and it made our experience even better.
Hidden gem—great food and even better service. We’ll definitely be back! Five stars...
