Goodrich Coffee & Tea — Restaurant in Town of Clarence

Every time I’m here, I keep my expectations low… I have friends that like it here so sometimes I end up here. I do have one good thing to say, but that one thing plus my overall experiences don’t get me here on my own. Here’s why… my matcha always looks brown and has almost no flavor besides the sweetener they used. The people behind the counter, although nice and friendly, are not fast. Food takes forever too and wasn’t anything special for me. Pastries sit out openly behind the counter, without a cover (and I’ve watched a fly land on them before in the summer). I tried switching to their smoothies once, and it tasted like a flavor shot in blended ice (for like $7 or something). Most people tell me they’re best for their coffee, and I’m not faulting them for this one, I’m just personally not a fan of coffee with nutty notes so when I go there, it’s hard getting something else besides their tea (not matcha or refreshers)! The specialty iced tea is actually really good and is so refreshing in summer or winter! And hot tea is hard to fib… if you see me at Goodrich, I probably ordered...

Very friendly staff, and willing to customize my Power Shake to cut back on some of the carbs, since I have Diabetes.

The shake was very good too! Nice consistency, and great flavor! There were a few ice cubes that didn't break up, but that's okay.

My only suggestion would be for the company to try and provide nutritional information, so people like myself can have a better shot at managing their conditions that are nutritional information dependent. The staff member who served me was willing to let me look at the nutrition labels of the items going into the shake that actually had labels though, so that helped!

All in all, I give them 4 out of 5, with the star removal being based strictly on the nutrition...

I never write reviews. But this is the best coffee shop I've ever been too. The wraps are filled up with real ingrediants very filling for real breakfast. And the coffee and blended drinks are incredible. way way better than the tim hortans down the road. And by the way. Any of the reviews less than 5 stars has never had real coffee before. This place is legit and dosent just give you a cup filled with hot water sugar and cream. Its real coffee that will give you energy for your day. The staff is also incredible!
