Belle Vita has been under new ownership for a couple of years. The former owners would be pleased. Not only can you get wonderful authentic Italian meats, cheeses and desserts. But!!!! I have to send special thanks. My mom is 90, almost 91. For Christmas she asked for an Italian EASTER holiday specialty, a pie/quiche.It had been so long since she saw one she mixed up Holidays. I called Belle Vita. The very kind young man I spoke to advised it was for Easter. This being my second Christmas as a widow, it was already difficult. And I wanted to give my Mom anything I could. I was not nice when they said only at Easter. I had to call back and apologize. About 5 minutes later my phone said Sally Boys Deli was calling me. My mothers name is Sally. Apparently the new owners have another deli with that name elsewhere. But It was Chris from Belle Vita. They were going to make me the dish for Mom. I catered a 3 foot mixed sub, Penne Vodka, and Chicken Parmesan and it was absolutely phenomenal. The sandwiches were up there with the best that I’ve ever had and the meat and cheese was so fresh. The Penne Vodka was delicious and the sauce was on point, tasted like it came from a gourmet Italian Resturant. The Chicken Parmesan was perfect, everything including the cutlet, cheese, and sauce was all made to perfection. Thin cutlets cooked perfectly, grandmas cooking is the best comparison I can make.
