My boyfriend basically begged me to try to order after I decided I didn't want to do business here anymore after at least a dozen negative delivery experiences. The following happened this evening....
Told a 30 minute wait for a sandwich, 3 different fried items and 20 oz bottle of DIET soda and we live two minutes away.
Food ordered 8:40 and arrived at 10:05.
Called and asked for an update on food after 45mins, was told food was on the way.
Called again at hour mark and was asked for my address for a second time.
Food finally arrived and was tepid at best. 20oz diet bottle of soda for diabetic friend became a 2liter of regular soda.
Called to complain and ask for hot food and was immediately told the kitchen was closed and no hot food would be made.
Asked for a possible refund from the owner and was BERATED over my original Yelp review of this establishment concluding in the driver picking up the cold food and no charge on our credit card.
FINAL CONCLUSION: I stand by my original review....buyer beware of the owners...
Read moreI've been a faithful patron of Primavera for over 15 years. Since it has changed hands this year, I have had a number of "less than desirable" experiences with food quality and order accuracy, not to mention the discontinued pizza coupon program.
Bottom line, it's NOT THE SAME Primavera you went to before this year so if you haven't eaten there for a while I highly recommend you reconsider if you are expecting the same menu, pricing, and quality.
I've been told they make most ingredients "in house" now, which one would normally associate with an improvement, but as everyone knows "quality ingredients result in quality products". If you DO order from the "New Primavera's", make SURE to review your order so that you get exactly what you want. Just yesterday I placed an order only to be disappointed with the wrong item (I learned later that the menu has changed and they didn't bother to tell me they don't make that product with those ingredients and that...
Read moreThe food at this place is unbelievably good. And the service is right there with it. We live in the Bronx and stumbled upon it by accident one day when we were doing some work in Congers and needed a quick bite before we went home. What a happy surprise. Every slice of pizza we had was delicious, the sauce they make is just right, the crust is thin, there is nothing bad I can say. We drive 40 minutes just to come up here and get a bite to eat.
My husband is in love with their margarita pizza. Authentically made and everything tastes fresh. I was amazed that their plain cheese pizza was just as good as my favorite spot in the city. The garlic knots are perfectly garlicky and soft on the inside but nice and crunchy on the outside. Each time we visited the staff was friendly, accommodating, and super helpful. We have not had anything we donât like and will be coming...
