Bolzano Restaurant & Brick Oven Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Clarkstown

Recently dined here with my family. Asked for bigger plates, more water, and ketchup, none of which we got. We had to ask again, and didn’t even get the plates. It is like our servers forgot about us, and were very unapologetic about the issues regarding their horrible service. Also, it was extremely loud in the restaurant as well, and near impossible to hold a conversation with the person next to me. We ordered one plain cheese pizza, which came out burnt and took 30 minutes. The service was slow and frankly unacceptable, given the party size and simplicity of the order. The people who came after us were served first, and the group next to us (roughly the same size) were served almost immediately relative to us. Upon talking to the manager, he said in a dismissive manner that "If a group of seven orders two items, then they deserve this treatment!". That is absolutely DISGUSTING...Is this a bias playing out because of our party size or skin colour (we were the only coloured people...

Nice restaurant served warm bread pasta was delicious however when ordered dessert server brought out Frozen cheesecake and frozen chocolate duo cake? Why??? Server did say I can defrost in microwave if u want...really!! and discrepancy with check. We needed change so left cash in billfold, server took bill while we chatted and never came back...umm sorry not leaving a 50% tip awkward when I had to flag him down to ask for change. When he came back to table he reached into his pocket and had 2 bills..not my change again awkward. I ended up giving over 30% bc he just stood there and I was embarrassed..I ex plained I gave him over 30% and was generous also needed receipt of meal and he disappeared..on way out I asked person behind bar for a receipt and server came back with just the name of rest on paper and amount of dinner..really? I was confused on entire process just bring back my original bill and I would have taken a picture...besides that the food was good and dining...

Great Food, Great Service, when it comes to Italian Food I’m very picky but this restaurant is a top Choice for me when I want to eat great Italian Food. You must try the clams they are my favorite. The Two owners that are brothers are so friendly they come over to your table and make sure everything is great.They just make you feel part of the family.
