China Garden — Restaurant in Town of Clarkstown

Totally agree with the good reviews. I've been actively searching for good Chinese food in the area foe the last 3 yrs and tried several restaurants but love China Garden food the most. I had the beef broccoli and shrimp fried rice and both were a hit with my husband and young kids. The shrimp fried rice was a bit dry for me but since I had been given a spicy brown sauce to go with my beef broccoli I was able to use the sauce sparingly over the shrimp fried rice and it didn't feel as dry. Fantastic food. They bring their A game. Extremely good quality, fresh ingredients. There is not a place in the area that comes close when it comes to everyday Chinese take out. Their food does not over do it with the salt and oil. Their vegetables are actually ripe and full of nutrient. The chicken in my chicken lo mein was fresh, juicy, perfectly shredded and totally natural, not that weird looking chicken you find in all the other restaurants. Service is always very good, delivery is fast and they always pay attention to any special requests. The food is what you expect from Chinese takeout but definitely better than average.

I would like to see them invest some time and money into making the actual sit down "restaurant" a bit more modern and inviting. It doesn't do their food justice...
