Pricey, small portions, My wife and I ordered a steamed chicken and broccoli. It came with 2 cups of rice, three cups of broccoli and 2-3 ounces of chicken. Undersized egg rolls. My wife and I sat down and felt a freezing cold draft at our table. Come to find out, they left the front entry door wide open. Problem is, it was 35 degrees out. I got up to close the door and someone from the back opened it back up again. I asked why do you have to leave the door open and the alibi I was given was the workers all the way in the back were hot and that we can leave because this is a take out chinese restaurant. Ordered spicy beef combo platter for lunch. it is swimming in gloppy strange tasting sauce, there is a mountain of onions cut in large uneven chunks, the carrots and peppers however were julienned very fine (cost saving measure on the pricier more flavorful ingredients, I imagine) and the beef is nearly non existent, in a dish that is supposed to be beef forward. Person answering the phone was snippy and not super helpful, didn't even want to give the exact price of the dish being ordered. Food quality is irregular … sometimes it’s fine other times it’s awful… We stopped going for about 2 years because they no longer deliver - we recently returned and got hit w $67 for 2 small soups, 4 egg rolls sm fried rice; sm beef w broccoli ; reg chicken veg; and boneless spare spareribs … Accordly to menu on their site it should of come to under $40… when questioned they said that is not their prices any longer and soup is $4 now and everything else is 2x as much … I do t expect to pay sit down restaurant prices at take out… wont go back .
