Disappointing Experience at McDonald’s
I’ve always enjoyed visiting this McDonald's location, but today’s experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. There was clear miscommunication at the drive-thru when I was placing my order, and the employee had trouble understanding me. My order was closed prematurely before I had finished, but after some delay, we finally completed it, and I proceeded to the second window.
At the second window, the employee was rude and didn’t provide the total amount due. Instead, he grabbed my money without saying anything. When I asked for the total, I was met with indifference. After receiving my order, I was rushed as I tried to settle my drinks, and when I asked if my order was complete, I didn’t receive a response. I was never given a receipt either.
Upon checking my order, I realized I was charged for items I didn’t receive. I called the store 8 minutes later to explain the situation, but rather than being helpful, the employee argued with me about the correctness of my order and offered no solution. I was left without a receipt and am now out $27 due to being overcharged. No offer for compensation or to exchange the incorrect items was made; instead, I was met with excuses.
This was by far the worst service I’ve experienced at any McDonald's. It's especially disappointing given how reliable this location has been in the past. I expect much better service from such a large...
Read moreI order from here often, and while I’ve been trying to cut back on eating out, it’s been a rough week so my husband and I decided to stop by today. Unfortunately, during my visit, I had a very unpleasant experience. While at the drive-thru, the window was closed but I overheard one of your employees loudly say, “She eats McDonald’s every day?” Clearly, it was said loud enough for me to hear, which was inappropriate and unprofessional. What bothered me most was the lack of respect and customer care shown. Employees should never make negative comments about customers, especially within earshot. This employee should be properly trained on professionalism and how to engage with the public also she should know when and when not to put on a bonnet. It’s been a rough day and to hear that, along with getting under cooked nuggets and burnt fries, I’m pissed lol. On a positive note, I do want to highlight the manager. I’ve shared to him recently that I truly appreciate his excellent customer service he’s always welcoming, smiling, and ready to assist whenever he’s there. Read moreI ordered a breakfast meal which consisted of an egg McMuffin, hash brown and orange juice. I was charged over $9.00 for this meal. ONE egg McMuffin, Hash brown and orange juice. I mentioned to the cashier that this meal states on the menu that it's $7.00 and change, which I thought was waaay too much already for what I ordered. The cashier called the manager to explain the increase in cost. The manager explained that it was because I asked for the orange juice instead of the coffee, which is what's included with the meal. So, I mentioned them charging me another $2.00 for orange juice instead of the coffee, (which they get to keep, mind you), for a total of over $9.00 for an egg McMuffin, which is about four bites, a hash brown, which is less than four bites, and a cup of orange juice. The cashier ended up giving me the meal for the original price, which was still ridiculous. But because they tried to, and really did, overcharge me for what I received, I will never set foot in that McDonald's again.
