The Heritage Pub — Restaurant in Town of Colonie

I've been there about 5 or 6 times the last 2 times I was there, I was treated with disrespect. One time was a bartender named Cody. She decided to get very bossy with me for a reason I don't even know. She refused to give me my bill. I told her that I'll just walk out. Then she threatened to have me physically held there until an Uber got there to pick me up when I already had a ride home. Then one of the patrons decided to punch me. That's when I said I'm calling the police. That's when she decided to give me my bill and let me leave. The second time was last night when a different bartender was there. I guy told my friend and I that he didn't want to hear us talking because he didn't like what we were talking about. We told him he needs to mind his own business then the bartender told us we have to leave. I've never been treated like that anywhere I go. Very unprofessional people working there. I've got other friends that say they got similar treatment there. Apparently they don't like outsiders there or something. The staff needs an attitude adjustment or different employment if they can't treat people...

I would give a zero if possible! My son went there 8/2/25 with a group of friends that came into town for the weekend. They were treated TERRIBLY. Most of them came from Massachusetts (where they all graduated from college together). A male employee told them their Massachusetts licenses were fake without even scanning them! He said he “knew” they were fakes. A female employee scanned only one girl’s license (a few times too) and it showed it was a VALID license but was told it was just a good fake. They were all 22 and 23 years old! They had other forms of ID as well. So much for trying to support local! Obviously their staff needs to be trained and not to assume out-of-state licenses are fakes....

This place seemed super cool. We were in town for a grad party, and wanted to go to a bar for a bit. Every New York license they let in, but every other one got denied (mass, Connecticut, etc*) I understand and we didn’t want to cause a problem, but that’s insane. We were gonna spend money and hang out for a bit, but we were denied even when they scanned them. I get it, and honestly we didn’t want to cause a scene but like cmon. One person had a fake ID and he got let him, but people who are well over 21 got denied. Like I said, place seemed cool and wish all the best for them, but it was super frustrating to...
