A Cozy Classic at Jane’s Diner – Binghamton, NY

If you’re in Binghamton, NY, and craving a comforting, homestyle meal, Jane’s Diner is the spot to check out! This family-owned establishment serves up classic diner fare with a welcoming touch that makes you feel right at home.

On my visit, I went for a true old-school favorite—liver and onions—along with their meatloaf dinner. Both meals came with a side salad and a warm bowl of broccoli cheddar soup. And let me tell you—the soup was spot on! Creamy, flavorful, and not overly salty, it had just the right balance of cheesy goodness and fresh broccoli.

The liver and onions were cooked well, with a rich, savory flavor that paired perfectly with the caramelized onions. If you’re a fan of this dish, Jane’s Diner does it right—tender, hearty, and packed with nostalgia. The meatloaf was just as satisfying, a true homemade classic with a comforting texture and a flavorful, well-seasoned gravy.

What makes Jane’s stand out is its warm, no-frills atmosphere, friendly service, and incredibly affordable prices. You get a generous portion of homemade comfort food without breaking the bank, making it a great stop for anyone looking for quality and value.

If you’re in the area and want classic, well-executed diner food at a great price, Jane’s is absolutely...

Very disappointed with the food and service at Jane's Diner. My girlfriend and I like to eat at diners often and decided to try one in Binghamton. As a result of its good ratings, we chose Jane's and made the hour drive to try it out. We had a lot of trouble finding it as there is no road sign or obvious advertisement to where its located. Only after driving past it the third time did we spot the sign hidden behind tree branches. Walking into the diner, it gives off a sketchy vibe, nothing like the home like feeling most diners have. We were seated at a slightly unclean table and the waitress didn't make any effort to introduce herself. Upon ordering we found that an all day breakfast diner doesnt serve waffles after noon and that they didn't even offer cheddar cheese for an omlete. When our food arrived (which it did come fast), we were also greeted with the check at the same time. It was distasteful and tacky and my girlfriend having have worked in a restaurant, was appalled by the service. After leaving, we realized that we could have gotten better food and service at a breakfast chain such as Dunkin Donuts and they would have at least had cheddar cheese. Won't be returning and warn others against putting any serious thought in...

Was in the area & used my Google review & maps to find this place as I had a very picky pregnant eater with me. Figured if I found a diner she had a wide variety of choices. Drove past this at first, but Google maps quickly informed us. Lol. This place was tucked into the corner of the building. Way bigger inside than expected. The staff was very friendly & attentive, it was a homey place. Food came out quickly, hot, and delicious. It looked & smelled so good, I forgot to take pictures & just dug in. However, the pregnant one ended up with a take home box seen she couldn't eat it all, as the portion sizes here are very generous. So I took a picture of her left overs & the pickles she highjacked from all our plates. Lol. Well worth the prices they charge & speaking of their prices they are reasonable also. So I did get a picture of what she took with her & posted it. The prices are great, the food was great, the staff was great. Definitely returning here if in the area again during...

Even though the prices where great the service was horrible. We needed a chair for our baby and one of the male workers stopped me to ask "Where are you taking the high chair "? I said I'm taking it to the table. Guess I have to do there job for them. That same man was rude to me as I was paying for my food. What happened to common courtesy in the food industry because it seems like no one has any which is sad.
