My first dining experience at the Table 9 was exceptional. I had the delminoco steak and it was delicious. It’s the first time I’ve been back in this area, so I decided to revisit this spot. Unfortunately it was not a good dining experience. They must not sale a bunch of the Delminico steaks anymore because the meat did not taste fresh nor aged. There was more gristle and fat content than meat. I let the steak cool so you can see what I am saying. I don’t know if this is a NY thing but American cheese on a bake potatoes is horrible.just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse the veggies were cold and the beer was flat and skunky. This is a pretty old establishment and the aroma in the dining area reflects it. I was totally disappointed because I was so excited to be back. Would I return, probably not. It’s a shame because this was one of the few places in Peekskill where you could get good food.

The place it's self was nice, food on the other hand was not all that. The presentation of the food was well done, but without real taste🤷 what does it matter, I had no condiments on my burger, it was totally missing the blue cheese. The dessert was the best part, and I'm sure that would be different if it didn't have all that sugar. As someone whom eats at top places, all over the city, the looks of this place truly decieves the food quality. 🤷🤷.If , and I mean If, that place ever did get busy, it would be a cluster fucc at best, although the waitress was nice, service is not very attentive. Just tooo many faults through observation and experience. This place would not last in the city, if I'm paying roughly 70.00 for hamburgers and fries, Nacho's, and a piece of lava cake, and I leave wishing we went to McDonald's instead 🤷🤷I will let you figure it out.

I had been looking forward to dining at Table 9 for a few months now since I no longer regularly drive down this way. But, sadly, it was a disappointment. The service was friendly and attentive, and truly the highlight of being here. The atmosphere is good, but the open space design lends itself to noisy even when it's not busy (it wasn't busy on the Sunday afternoon I was there). Which brings me to the food... Although their website does feature Brunch on Sundays, it also lists lunch everyday... not so! Brunch it is: I ordered the T-9 Benedict and splurged on a mimosa (which was heavy on the alcohol). I added an orange juice. The fare was just that, fair. More diner than restaurant, and pricier than it should be. I really want to like this place, but they haven't earned my 'like.' As I said, it was a disappointment.

Yes. Hello? Reservation for Table 9? Yeah maybe some other time. ;P Ok, jokes aside, here's the quick rewind on my outing at Table 9 and if I were to rate service alone I'd have to PLACE 5 STARS. EASY. Now I hope I'm getting these names right but Colby, Hannah, Karissa, Emily and Rachel all are responsible for above and Beyond service. The way they greet guests and patrons alone warrants a visit if you were perhaps catering to a special event. Birthday. Mother's Day. Promotion. etc. They'll take care of you on that regard. But the food. I am very sorry to say is lacking. It's not bad. but it's definitely not on par with the ambiance and service. The calamari was very basic, lukewarm in temperature, and a bit chewy. I'm usually a fan of calamari and very rarely leave a critique regarding it but compared to many other places, even pizza places for crying out loud, this calamari was miss. The mussels, which were recommended, I found a bit too salty and bland but most bar centric establishments opt for this presentation so I can't say it's a surprising letdown. The Delmonico steak, which I requested medium rare, was presented super well done so much so even the belly of the meat was charred and the salmon was too dry. The Macaroni and cheese, which told by a few locals to be pretty savory, reminded me a bit of craft and tasted more butter than cream. Lastly, the Large Chocolate cake piece absolutely tasted frozen, dated, and commercial. Table 9 from the outside appears to be next level dining and the service meets that level up. The cuisine I ordered that day knocks everything down a few notches unfortunately. If I was to order anything else it would...

Obviously, the place has been around for a while. Its all heavy old wood and dark on the inside.. that's fine.

HOWEVER, the food is the definition of unseasoned. Literally no flavor. We came here for the second time, hoping the first experience was an off day.

The fried mozzarella, tasteless, no salt and so was the marinara it came with. The santa fe egg rolls, tasteless. Chicken strips, flavorless. Crab cakes, bland!

It's like the people in the kitchen have declined to use salt in anything. Maybe it's because they serve a population that seems to be over 60 with high blood pressure? Even the fries were bad. Soup...if you like it lukewarm, perhaps, God forbid they serve it hot!

Look, if you like good food, don't come here. If you like flavor, don't come here. This is a place where...maybe doing straight shots could be okay, but only because it has to be impossible to mess up a measured shot straight out of the bottle...but I don't think it's the vibe for a party crowd. I'm pretty sure they are still open just because there aren't many places to go in the area.

Sad.

Oh, and the waitress licked her fingers to turn a page on the thick plastic coated menu??? Just 100% not going back again....

The place is ok, a lot of parking a lot of room for tables. I went there like 2 times, this last one was for my birthday, of course I didn't picked it. I choose for my meal a nice expensive peace of beef, what is always my favorite to eat in nice big restaurants. I was hoping it will be the best meat in town...well I didn't like it no mater I choose medium term to be cook to see the red juice (was over cook). The mash potatoes and the vegetables were not my favorite. When I went years a go, around 2019 for Christmas eve, it was the same experience, nothing special to said so I want to go back again.

This time it was the same experience plus the server was over me to pick up or leave the plates, like I was not there. Find that rude, maybe he wasn't train correctly, but I never hear a word like, excuse me sir need to get this plate over you, he just did it. I am not sure about prices because it was my birthday so I didn't paid. I am not going back for sure. I saw a lot of cars on the weekends, meaning they have many people going there, so what is their speciality they make all those customers to go back...
