My first review was glowingly positive. This latest review not so much. Stopped in for a father's day dinner with my wife, daughter and my parents who were visiting from out of town. Called to see if they required reservations, was told no. Got there and was seated by the hostess girl immediately. The Owner stopped my parents before they could join me at the table wanting to know why we didn't have a reservation. Then she came over to me, asking us to cram in a booth, which was extremely tight. I asked if we could stay at the table we were already seated at. Then our waitress came over to take our drink order and hand out menus and the Owner immediately came back over to our table and growled that my 6 year old daughter didn't need a menu.
Then during dinner, my entree was made incorrectly, so I had to wait for a new entree while everyone else at my table ate. Plus we barely had drink refills. The Owner kept giving us what appeared to be dirty looks and went from table to table asking parties how their dinner was. Didn't bother with our table. Even our server was left scratching her head as to why and told us that we should just ignore her. We weren't loud, rude, or anything like that.
We felt very unwelcome and our business unappreciated. All of our previous visits were without our daughter, who was quiet and well behaved by coloring in her book.
I'm guessing the Owner doesn't like kids. If that's the case, she doesn't deserve our business. There are plenty of other restaurants to patron. It's a shame because we like the food here and always had great experiences on prior visits. Too bad the Owner doesn't appreciate the customers and families. Appears that she only wants adults and no children. I'd also like to mention, that it was busy but not extremely packed while we were there. There definitely were empty tables, so it's not like we took a table from someone and no one was waiting for our table. In fact parties with the same number that we had, were seated at larger tables.
It was a tense meal, feeling like we needed to eat and be gone. You want a better review, do better...
Read moreMade a reservation for 18 people for Easter Brunch. Upon arrival, we noticed that there was very little food left at the buffet and what was available was ice cold. The sternos under the chafing dishes were completely unlit. There was a separate table with (empty) pitchers of water and juice with coffee next to it. My son got himself a cup of coffee and upon returning to his seat, noticed LIPSTICK on the rim of the cup! This actually happened TWICE!! When we brought this to the attention of the manager, new coffee and cups were provided, but the coffee was also cold. When we first arrived, there was a man making “to order” omelets, but he soon disappeared and was not made available to us. We asked to be able to order a la carte, and were told this was not possible because they had no chef! They said they would put out fresh food, and also warm up what was there. This DID NOT happen! The food was ice cold and completely inedible. There was another group of people (approximately 6) who were seated at the same time. They, too, complained. I don’t know what they were told, but they ended up leaving shortly after. Wish we had followed suit! This was actually one of the worst experiences I have ever had! And to add insult to injury, when we were leaving, we all noted the very full dining room with people ordering off the menu! I will add that our bill was cut in half, but it doesn’t make up for this horrible experience. They knew they had a large group coming for Easter Brunch. We should have been accommodated. We arrived on time for our reservation. gave one star because I was not given the option...
Read moreWent to Pegasus for dinner with my family around 8 PM as we were just arriving to town. I was not impressed. My husband ordered the fisherman's platter, my daughter ordered the pork chops ( We were not provided a children's menu. Nor did we see children's items on the main menu) and I ordered chicken Alfredo. .. the scallops and pork chops and chicken from the Alfredo were all raw. When I said something to the waitress. She went to talk to the manager who then avoided us the rest of our time at the restaurant and never came over to apologize. Furthermore, they took one meal off of our ticket and treated us like we were trying to get a free meal out of the complaint when I showed them the raw meat. Their only solution was to recook the meat for us. However, at that time we realized it was all raw. We were so disgusted we didn't want to eat the rest. I told the waitress at the beginning of our Meal that we didn't eat onions or peppers and half. The food that came out was loaded with them. And she never said anything like potato skins who puts onions on potato skins.... And lastly, they close at 9. But when we made our complaint, the waitress made sure to smile and tell us we came in late... Meanwhile, on the other side of the facility they were having a big party of sorts, so they weren't closing. We weren't the last...
