Pirate's Cove — Restaurant in Town of Delavan

Clearly this bar only wants the few regulars it has I walked in waited to order a drink bartender was busy then she told me it would be a minute that’s fine… I go over and play a machine low and behold I hear a regular whining cause I started winning on the machines then the owner proceeds to come over and ask if I need anything by then I decided they don’t welcome outsiders so I was gunna cash out and leave even though I’ve been there many times and spent a lot of $ there the owner told me just so you know if one of my regulars wants that machine you have to get off it they are spending money here you are not……i then had the conversation about how putting money in the machines is patronage to the bar and she said no it’s not your not tipping the bartender…..btw I always tip the bartender even though I don’t drink or just have a soda also the machines at this bar print a ticket that you take to a atm and it pays you so yea no work for the bartender there so I cashed out threw 2$ on the bar walked out while the bitchy owner screamed thanks for the tip” wow never been so uncomfortable in my life and never ever going there again and I thought this bar was so comfortable and nice atmosphere but that changed big time I do not recommend this place the waterfront down the road...

We went all the way down here (25 miles) to the "pirates cove" on advice from 1 person in Delevan and your stellar reviews of this place. It was horrible. The pastas were disgusting and warm. The cole slaw was thick and gooey. We waited 40 mins for our food that never did come. after 30 minutes of our waitress ignoring us. We asked when the food was coming the mgr. rudely explained and made an excuse of " well were backed up about 15 more mins. and not to get upset because they had all these people and "a kitchen the size of the small table''( notice the quotes) we were sitting at. I don't want excuses ,,, an apology would have been nice but that never came. When another group of people were sat we knew we were never going to be tended too so We left and sadly went to Perkins down the road. w/ in 10 mins were were drinking and eating an appetizer. When we said we were leaving the waitress sd "okay bye"" wtf? what kind of operation they got going on there . People beware this is a lake side pub in a rich community that got to big for its britches and they cant handle restaurant business at all 0 rating, horrible review, never will go back, ever! Ohh and Kid friendly???? wtf2? ITS A...

Absolutely will not go back here ever again….local resident figured I’d give it a shot but I have no idea what the heck these people rating it 4 or 5 stars are smoking. Got sat at a table, kids got toys from a treasure which I guess is cool. We went for the fish fry, fish was good however, the waitress was horrendous. Didn’t introduce herself, just walked up and kind of stood there. She didn’t know what kind of drinks they had (soda). Fish fry was good all the way up until I had a box elder bug crawling out of my garlic bread…..no refills because of the waitress being MIA. Food coming out at random intervals and on top of that just pitchers of water for anyone to grab and use. Then it’s cash only, took 30 minutes just to get the check when we were done eating, then have to walk across the bar area just to use their ATM. Needless to say, worst way to spend $80 for a family of 4. I would never recommend this place to anyone I...
