We really wanted to love this place!! We have heard excellent reviews! But.. Maybe we got them on an off night. (Wednesday) Walked in, BEAUTIFUL restaurant!! Remodel was done well! Waited for the hostess to acknowledge us. Let her know we were early and if it was ok, we would like to have a drink at the bar. No problem. Ordered a glass of wine and a bottle of beer. Cooler behind the bar had been inadvertently turned off..so everything inside was warm. Bartender was apologetic, and ran downstairs to grab cold bottles. Came up, put them all in the cooler. 'Excuse me- Could we please have one of those?' Lol.. Honest mistake, he was rattled. Decided to run a tab till table was ready. (I'm sure it was ready, it was early in the evening, only a few diners) Bartender set bill in front of us, which again, totally fine.. except for all the additional charges listed on there. So, had to call him over again to mention we did not order these extra items. He apologized (super nice-just a bit flustered) and removed the extra items. Hostess came over to let us know our table was ready so we closed out at the bar. (they do not let you add it to your dining bill..jsyk) Sat down, enjoyed the view while we had water poured and rolls/butter delivered. Waitress came by and took our order. Very attentive. Relish tray ($5) and cheese curds ($14) were delivered as our appetizers. Cheese curds..eh.. Pass next time. Relish tray - pretzels, cheese, cuks, celery, & purple carrots! Just meh.. but for $5, we were ok w/ the selection, and worth it in our opinion. Husband ordered a ribeye (medium well) w/ mushrooms-onions enhancement. I ordered shrimp skewer enhancement w/ a filet. (med) Steaks came out, looked beautiful. Great presentation. Husband's steak was med rare-rare. We NEVER like to send anything back, and generally just deal w/ it. But even I wouldn't eat this, as it was definitely not what he ordered. Waited and waited until the waitress came back. Finally saw her at the end of the row and flagged her over. She took it back to be re-fired or however they 'fix' it. Steaks come out w/ chefs butter on top. Mine wasn't even warm enough to melt the butter. While the inside was done to my liking, the temp of the meat just wasn't warm. The flavor was somewhat bland in my opinion, but maybe that was just me. Husband's steak came back and he ate what he could, but we were just ready to go at this point. The restaurant was extremely warm. To the point of being uncomfortable. All the other diners were shedding clothing as it was just not even a comfortable 'warm'.. So some adjustment on the temp could be improved. I hate to be a complainer.. I mean.. she did take off the two cokes we had with dinner.. but for the bar tab, dinner tab and tip, we spent a touch over $200. I feel like it's just kinks they need to work out, and will hopefully get there sooner than later, or possibly we just got an off night. We truly want to love this place!! Read moreAs someone who’s worked in the service industry, I’m typically very understanding when it comes to delays or off nights—things happen. But the experience we had celebrating our friend’s bachelorette at this restaurant was beyond disappointing.
We weren’t greeted at our table for 20 minutes, and it took another 20 minutes just to get our drinks. (We get it—bars back up.) Our appetizer came out quickly, but salads and soups took another 15 minutes, and no one ever checked back to see if we needed anything else. Our server came by again nearly an hour after we ordered to say the food should be out soon, and we ordered another round of drinks. Some of the same cocktails were made inconsistently, one was forgotten entirely, and the server left before we could even say anything.
Meanwhile, tables seated long after us were already finishing and paying their checks. I asked to speak to a manager and requested a new server. When I tried to calmly explain the situation, the manager cut me off mid-sentence and walked away. Thankfully, our new server was fantastic—kind, attentive, and professional.
Our food finally came out an hour and a half after we ordered it. One plate even had a piece of plastic sitting right on top. The manager never came back to follow up. They removed that one meal from the bill, and that was it.
All six of us at the table have worked in restaurants, and none of us were expecting perfection—we simply would’ve appreciated communication and a little more care. The lack of basic hospitality, accountability, and follow-through made what should’ve been a fun, celebratory night extremely frustrating.

From walking in and sitting at the bar for 10 minutes and not once did the bartender great us for drinks. We were then seated to our table which we had reservations for 6 and had two additional guests show up so table of 8, they worked it out for us. When I made reservations it said a private room was booked but confused to we were sitting out in the open. Not very private setting. No biggies just the wording online when making reservations seemed weird. There were a few good thing's like the bread baskets were delicious. But most disappointing part was the main dish. I ordered the woodfire 1/2 chicken Glazed. the 1st bite was borderline under cooked, being pregnant and cautious I cut into my 2nd bite and it was pink and my 3rd bite was definitely under cooked. We pointed ut out to a staff member who said that the joints are always pink and bloody but after seeing that, it was not appetizing and he took my plate. Instead of our waitress talking about it or having someone come talk to us, they brushed it off. One of the other couples we were with also ordered the chicken and brought it up to our waitress who said she'd take it off the bill after talking to management. When we got the bill my chicken was still on bill even though they took the plate basically untouched. Not sure if it was miscommunication between the staff but we shouldn't not have been billed for my meal. We were not impressed with our experience and lack of communication, we paid our bill and left.
