Jose's Mexican Restaurant - In Ho-Chunk Wisconsin Dells — Restaurant in Town of Delton

I have never had a real issue that Jose has never addressed and fixed but this location we have had stale chips the last several times we have ate there for our nachos , we asked for light cheese sauce and this time we had no cheese and I have been getting grilled chicken verses shredded chicken for awhile now since Jose has told me to ask for that for the way I want my nachos done. I have never paid another price EVER. tonight I was charged for steak and was told by the girl that I need to be paying the steak price if I want grilled chicken . I said Jose has never charged me nor have ever been charged for steak . We just ate here about three weeks ago and never were charged for steak . We eat at the casino location every time we go play bingo . When I asked for a receipt she was rude about needing to get me a receipt . If there is a up charge then it should be stated in the menu when for over a year I have never been charged for steak from Jose, managers , or any of their servers at ho chunk or...

Maria at Jose's is an absolute pleasure to interact with. Such a doll in the best possible way (spoken from one 'gal' to another). Excellent service throughout my experience, and no question is a stupid question. Many fresh and good options to choose from on the menu. Just wish they had CocaCola from Mexico so I could dilute it with soda water myself. Unfortunately, I'm allergic to ALL synthetic food colorings/dyes/and non raw sugars. They let me make my own ginger ale-iced tea though which was perfect for my needs. The skirt steak entree was perfectly done and lasted me 2 more meals (taken home). Definitely, more than worth the cost for a petite chica like myself. Unless you're somebody who likes to gorge because you have a high metabolism, or you eat 'family styles as in sharing is caring, no one person really needs that much food in one sitting, just saying. And, sorry, not sorry.

Terrible service.. walked up to the counter and said we had 2 people and was seated. Sat there with our menu for 5 minutes and a lady brought the chips and salsa to the table and the whole time was talking to another worker and never made eye contact with us or offered a drink. Waited 10 more minutes and finally flagged down a server. A guy came over and asked if we would like a drink and I said yes and we are ready to order. Why bring the spicy chips with nothing to drink even water??? We ordered our meal and it came quick. We were finished and the same lady that gave us the chips and salsa came and took our plates and I asked for the bill.. she said WAIT.. I’m like what?
