Elias Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of East Greenbush

Never had a problem ordering from Elias Pizzeria until last night. Ordered a pizza to receive it with the toppings being on the cardboard. Brought the pizza back showed them asked for a replacement told 15 minutes ok no problem. Go back 15 minutes later to being accused by the workers telling me that I dropped the pizza and that it was my fault. Mind you I order atleast once a week from them and never had an issues. And second off why would I drop a pizza and I said that to them and they laughed at me said they were joking. My friend came in waited for the pizza and come to find out charged him for a pizza I already paid for. We went back and demanded for a refund and only get half of his money back. At this point it was no longer worth the argument. I called today when they opened asked to speak to a manager and instead was hung up on and for my phone call after to be hung up on again. Not sure if anyone else had these new issues with them but there’s mine. Perhaps new workers. What a shame. Never ordering from them again and I’m letting everyone know before it happens to someone else that may not be able to afford paying the price of two pizzas and...

Ok so I saw what seemed to be a "Karen" complaining about this place online but the place looked decent so I figured I would try them.

I ordered 1 cheese slice 2 pepperoni slices and some bread sticks.

I thought the food was really good. The cheese slice was my favorite because you could really taste the sauce and ladies and gentlemen the sauce is where it's at here. Great flavor without being a heavy sauce! The dough must have been extremely fresh it was a perfect balance of crisp from the bottom to slightly chewy on the crust. The pepperoni slices was decent but much more greasy from the pepperoni. The bread sticks are pretty big and have tons of garlic ours were cold and would have been amazing if they were hot but still good.

There seemed to be quite a few staff members and they were all really friendly

We ordered pick up and food was ready very fast 7 minutes which should have been the first red flag considering it was a large order pizza calzone salad and ziti meatballs - the pasta was rancid tasted 3 days old and metallic - we called them hoping they would just be kind and apologetic instead we were asked in a very rude way - what do you want me to do ? Like he could care less - I asked for his name - he refused to give his name and said I could call back and ask for Tarik….. sorry but you have lost my business - I gave you an opportunity as I understand things happen and mistakes happen but your attitude that you could care less is not a good look - meatballs were hard like rocks like they were nuked int eh...
