I’m thrilled to have discovered The Crisp Cannoli! Their pastries are fantastic, with an impressive variety that makes it hard to choose. The cafe itself is spotless and was wonderfully decked out for Halloween during my recent visit. The staff was warm, friendly, and fun, adding to the cozy atmosphere. Prices are reasonable, and the whole place feels clean and inviting. I rated them 4 stars on food because my breakfast sandwich didn’t fully meet expectations. While the flavors and ingredients were great, I had requested a well-done bagel, which was nicely toasted. However, it seems they put the entire sandwich in a warmer, making the bagel softer than I’d hoped. As it was a take-out order, I didn’t get a chance to ask them about it. Next time—and there will be a next time!—I’ll inquire about their warming method or maybe skip it to keep the bagel's crunch. Overall, I highly recommend giving The Crisp Cannoli a try. Whether you’re treating yourself or aiming to impress with beautiful, delicious pastries, this place is a must-visit! BTW: Their sfogiatelle is amazing! UPDATE 12/4/24: We had lunch there and thought it was some fine food. We had a BBQ chicken salad and the Buffalo chicken wrap. The salad was made with fresh ingredients and was a nice size. The wrap was spicy! And they grill/press it so the tortilla is cooked somewhat - just how I like it. The wrap also came with chips and macaroni salad. The macaroni was definitely al dente and seemed to have a different texture - perhaps made in house? Still, flavorful.

Immediately loved the place. Its like a New York coffeehouse, bakery and café had a baby and named it the Crisp Cannoli. Everything looked good and fresh. I went to a party that had their cupcakes and next day I was there like air. My only observation the bakery cases are too high, making ordering a bit challenging. I also did care for the cashier at the point of sales. Her service was lackluster. We ordered two boxes and a to go sandwich and yet we had to ask for a bag BUT it may be a new York thing. The pastries were delicious. Stand out favorite was the apple caramel pop tart. Yes, I will be back when I visit again and I do recommend. Parking is ample and so is seating. It does seem to get busy and they do close mid afternoon. I heard the owner prefer people not tip his staff bc he states he pays ample wages but suggests guests donate to the charity box where he then donates accordingly. That is a W in our tip heavy society. I really like that if correct and I wish more owners followed suit!

Living travel life and staying at Schodack Island State Park (which I highly recommend and 15 mins from The Crisp Cannoli). I work remotely and before arriving to town, I messaged The Crisp Cannoli via Facebook to ensure they have guest Wi-Fi as I needed a place to work from for about a week. They politely confirmed right away and was very welcoming. When I walked in, the owner, who goes by "J", recognized me and was extremely friendly! I assumed not, but thought I'd ask if there were any vegan options. J apologized, which he didn't have to, and noted he has in the past but I don't think they sold well. Fast forward to the next morning when I arrived, he let me know right away he made two vegan options last night, Blueberry and Cherry Pinwheels & Elderberry Raspberry Tarts (see pics). Extremely nice of him! Lastly, all the staff has been extremely warm and welcoming as well. I can only remember two of the names, Rebecca and Miles. Thank you J and The Crisp Cannoli Team. A++++

Delicious food. Delectable baked goods. Coffee done right.. this place has it all!! Food: Their food is FRESH, delicious flavor combos, and a wide variety to choose from! We ordered the New Yorker and the Turkey/cran mayo. We both LOVED our selections. Each sandwich came with chips, a little dish of mac salad and a pickle. Well worth the price! The bread was soft and so fresh and we didnt have a single complaint. Veggies were fresh and crisp and overall it was just excellent. BAKED GOODS: This is typically where Im super picky. Coming from an Italian family, having a major sweet tooth, and, being a baker myself.. Im pretty critical when it comes to baked goods. We ordered some sugar cookies which were soft and buttery and had just the right touch of sweet glaze to compliment. A fugdey, gooey brownie with just the right touch of frosting, soft and buttery oatmeal raisin cookies and the best of all.. italian rainbow cookies DONE RIGHT! All of our guests loved the treats. COFFEE: This is not your starbucks or DD. This is perfect frothy, deliciously made right coffees, lattes etc. So creamy and delicious and just the right strength! And best of all.. the owner is such a wonderful, generous, kind person. He is right out there with his staff- attentively assisting them as well as greeting his customers out on the floor. The atmosphere and music were lovely, the entire space was super clean... Basically, we LOVED this little gem of a place and will be back time...

I would give 100 stars if I could! I go here at least once a week sometimes more. Such a large variety and excellent quality ingredients! One of my favorites is the turkey cranberry Panini. Where else can you get turkey cooked right there in their own oven. I do not like deli meat, which is one of the reasons why I come here! Everything is so fresh and cooked right there. My husband and I get their salads once a week and this says a lot because my husband is not a salad person. He likes the Italian mix salad because it’s everything he would get on a sub without the bread. I would list everything I like here but this review would be pages long. I read some of these other reviews and wonder what planet these individuals are from because anyone giving a negative review is either at a different place or has nothing else better to do than write fake complaints. During Covid this was the only place I would eat because it was that clean! The owner truly cares as does the entire staff! Aside of excellent quality food, this is the only establishment I know that gives back to the community in every way possible. Keep doing what you’re doing guys!...
