Ordered pizza, wings & a sub. Flavors great and they clearly use good ingredients. So much potential in this meal, BUT: 1. Asked for the pizza with crispy crust. This is way past crispy — it’s burnt. 2. The sub — this was a special order. Their menu doesn’t include a vegetarian sub so I asked for: “A ham & cheese sub but instead of the ham add lots of extra veggies — like a salad on a bun with a little cheese.” What I received was more like cheese on a bun with a few veggies. And they charged me the regular ham&cheese sub price PLUS $1 each for banana peppers, green peppers, and olives. Pizza would have been great if not burnt. The wings were good. The Sub bread was excellent w/ good quality cheese. Wouldn’t have minded paying extra for veggies if there had actually been a decent amount of them on the sandwich.

Always delicious! I got the meatball sub today for $8.50 and it was out of this world! DJ's is proudly serving East Greenbush, Rensselear, Albany & the surrounding capital district since 2000. You can dine in, take-out or they offer free delivery if you choose. I highly recommend this place.

Best pizza in the 518 hands down not even a close second and prices are cheaper too. Cool little spot in the back of a bar. Overall 10/10

I moved into the area about 6 months ago and have tried every place that you can order out and get delivery from, and this is by far the best.

Pizzas aren't anything to write home about, but they're still the best I've had in the area. Not only that, but the value is incredible. Their 19" pie is HUGE, and for the price, you simply can't beat it. The wings are great too...again, best in the immediate/delivery area. The wings themselves are a good size, they actually give you a dozen (not 10 like everyone else), and they're cooked very well: not drowning in sauce to get all soggy. The blue cheese portion is also generous as you get a 3oz instead of the standard 2 (this is important to me). I'd also recommend their subs as I believe they bake their own bread? (not sure about that) So long as it's fresh they're amazing...and huge. I would add salt and pepper, however, as mine was a bit on the bland side - it's a sub, don't expect booming flavors. The only other thing I've tried was the fried mushrooms, which seemed to be freshly battered, not frozen- pre-packaged crap, but by the time it arrived (delivery) they were cold and soggy. They also severely needed salt - I'd recommend them if you were going to eat them hot and had some salt handy, otherwise: stay away.

They seem to be quite popular, so they can get very busy at times, and have occasionally taken over an hour to get the food to me. Plus their phone is often "busy" during peak hours, so order early if it's getting close to dinner time. That said, they're super friendly and accommodating regardless.

I recommend: Hot wings and the 19" Specialty...

Love this restaurant, prices are great, food is delicious. But my health comes first. We are living in times of the coronavirus, and I take my health as well as others seriously. If I'm not able to get service without wearing a mask for safety of everyone, then take my life just as serious. My sub was being made today and I saw the person making it drop the glove she was handling my food with on the floor pick it up and put it on to continue to make my food. I guess she had a sly remark about it. Well love I see why people are getting sick while dinning out. Don't think I'll...
